We rented the camper trailer for 12 days to do the Gibb wirh 2 adults and 2 children. The trip was amazing and memorable. The car, trailer and all the equipment was in great condition and nothing needed for camping was missing. Mel was super helpful and accommodating. I would always go for the option with the trailer again, as it is very convenient to have a base camp and just go with the car to the walks without needing to pack everything up. We can recommend Kimberley Adventure Hire without exception.

I had no difficulty contacting Mel in Kununurra from Scotland to arrange a booking for our drive along the Gibb River Road.
She provided good advice on what we would need for the trip and the Isuzu MU-X was ideal. It was comfortable and perfect for the trip and easily coped with the many river crossings.
We had a really good, worry free adventure along the Gibb I can therefore thoroughly recommend Kimberley Adventure Hire for your holiday plans in the Kimberley.

No request was too big - we were travelling with 4 adults and a child, and Mel was incredibly accommodating, practical and responsive. We just hired a camper trailer from Shelley at KKH. The Franklin is a basic soft top side fold camper that does the job. We hired a Hilux ute from Avis at the airport and never needed to carry anything in the back the trailer has so much storage space. We hired a 12V fridge but the socket did not work in the car so Shelly swapped it out the next day for us to another esky. Hint - get block ice at the service station rather than the usual ice blocks in a bag as it last much longer. Shelly also let us have an jerry can that fits onto the trailer but we never needed to use it. Nice to have the reassurance though.
It came with heaps of doonas and pillows - we need not have bothered with sleeping bags.
Basically everything was clean, worked well, did the job, had plenty of inclusions. Well it was nice and clean till we camped with it. We had zero trouble getting to the bungle Bungles/ El Questro with multiple water crossings and drought tracks. Very happy we flew up and hired. Made it much easier. Actually much better than when we hired a really fancy camper trailer which took too long to set up/pack away and did not have enough storage.
