I had booked a renovated front block room for 1 night stay. I arrived outside reception hours to find that I had been downgraded to an un renovated back block room. |While out at dinner, the glass light shade in the shower room had fallen from tge roof and shattered over the tiled floor causing it difficult to clean to enable me to have a shower. I have since been accused of smashing the shade from the roof. There was alot of dead bugs and dirt under the bed that had never been cleaned. Both Expedia and the property accept and responsibility for the downgrade in room type claiming that I had actually been upgraded into this larger, dirty and hazardous room. Additionally there are dirty ashtrays out the front of every room, so much for booking non-smoking. |Having tried to seek compensation and refund from Expedia, you get the run around from may customer service agents and the property itself stating a no refund policy. Under Australian Consumer Law this is incorrect as they must offer a refund as they did not provide the product I had purchased being a renovated room. All in all, stay here at your own risk. Kerang has alot more cleaner and safer options. Also make sure you book direct with a property as using a 3rd party booking agent like Expedia, will only cause additional obstacles if you have a genuine complaint.lastly, if you do happen to leave something in your room after departure, such as a phone charger, you will never see it again. Very poor experience.

We booked into this property because it's website showed a delightful looking restaurant but sadly we learnt it had been closed 5 years but still being advertised. How the Health Dept. has passed the Bathroom area I do not know because this was unbelievable. The bench had hand basin where you wash teeth, shave, brush your hair or whatever you do in a bathroom alongside the toaster, kettle, rubbish bin, fridge, micro wave & plus the toilet in a tiny separate room on right of bench & shower in tiny separate room on left of bench. If you are a large person, I do not know how you would cope with the size of the amenities. Fortunately the bed was ok but then the doona is too hot for us so doona had to go as it was covered by the top sheet which was the doona cover. The TV had the cords all straggling in sight which was like a jumble sale. The aircon we couldn't get it right either. I thought being a Resort, it would live up to what a Resort really is but think about it if you book; do a room show before you unload the luggage from the car. Our bad choice. I wouldn't stay again but that's my choice as may suit others but not us. -Helen of Nhill

No , No NO
I dont usually review places unless a place is really great or really horrible and in this case its beyond horrible.
Service: NONE. it feels like the place is run by a bunch of unhappy angry people who hate their job and dont want to be there ( in this case its very limited reception hours). Country hospitality? Dont look for it here.
Rooms: Besides a bunch that were renovated almost 10 years ago you will get a dump from 1987 even if you book a room that was "recently" updated they will use the older parts of the complex adjoining the junkyard behind which can only makes sense they are trying to keep everyone in the same spot to do "cleaning" of rooms easier. if you even as for a paid upgrade no can do even though most of motel is empty the next day which makes me think they're too stingy to pay housekeeping any extra hours which explains the lack of cleanliness due to limited time they have to spend on preparing the room.
Location: NOT IN TOWN and NOT CLOSE, you will have to drive into town and if you want to have a drink with your dinner forget it because you will have to call a cab. there's plenty of choice in town to bother with this place. and it is on the main road so truck noise is inevitable.

I checked in with my Mum and daughter for a two night stay. Our Twin room was clean, spacious and had everything that we required. Free foxtel and internet kept my daughter happy along with the beautiful pool. The management and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to any needs. Thank you for your fantastic hospitality, we will certainly be back. Sarah H

Came here with my family for the weekend. It was very quiet which was nice. Overall happy with the experience! Nice and clean rooms and exceeded my expectations! Would definitely recommend!||Pros:|- towels provided|- Clean beds/bedsheets|- Rooms and floors were clean and tidy|- Nice provision of plates, bowls and cutlery|- Also get complimentary tea and coffee|- Beds were comfortable and you get electric blankets which is great for when travelling in winter|- Nice and close to the supermarket|- Plenty of mirrors|- Good wifi||Cons:|- walls are quite thin so you can hear everyone talking/showering/going to the toilet (including other rooms)|- A lot of cars driving past at night which is quite loud|- the kitchen sink was also the bathroom sink in an open hallway area which was a bit annoying but okay|- If you are a light sleeper you will wake up whenever anyone goes to the toilet which can be frustrating|- Also our front door sometimes opened even after closing it which was annoying but that could have just been the room.
