One of the best fish and chips I have ever had! Juicy flathead in a crispy light batter, excellent chips and a nice salad.
Update December 2023: thoroughly disappointed as the fish was tiny inside the batter. Why?! ?

Food always, (Excellent).. have a good range, changes frequently (chefs specials)
One of the better places to eat in Kempsey,quiet during weekdays lunches,great atmosphere (overlooks the Mighty Macleay)

Delicious food and very welcoming staff. All the meals were super flavourful and of large portions. Beautiful view of the river from the restaurant too, would definitely recommend

my wife had Barramundi with rattatui which she thought was excellent; I had lamb shank with roast veg - a bit bland, I thought… but for a dinner at an RSL in a little country town in NSW on a Sunday … it’s very good. Now waiting for dessert…

The food was amazing with a beautiful view. The entire experience was only made better with the professional and welcoming staff. They treated you with a wonderful friendly manner as if you are a VIP or regular. I definitely recommend a visit here if your in Kempsey.
