This hidden gem in Bargara is a great restaurant. Went there last night for the surf and turf which as always was on point. I have been there about a dozen times in the last 18 months and have always had a great experience. I have not found a better value surf and turf anywhere in our outside of Bundaberg. Eye fillet with muscles, prawns, scallops and half bug served with nice vegetables for $40 can not be bested.

Dinner date with the missus. Got straight into the mains. A crispy pork belly for the missus and a seafood gumbo for me.

Drinks cheaper than the local pub ?. Food nice and service attentive. Meal prices reasonable and good portion size too.

Brought takeaway parmy night. Parmys were cheap frozen fake chicken and chips were gross. Chef came while we were ordering and told waitress very riding last pick up was 6pm. Poor lady was lovely about it though. Charged $5 for one scoop of crappy gravy. Stay away. Would like our money back. $41 of wasted money that ended up in the bin.

The food was so fresh and amazing seafood. Well done to the chef. Only 1 wait staff who was so efficient. Thanks all.
Unfortunately the decor took me back to the 1960's. Was also difficult to find in the awful torrential rain and night time.
Definitely worth the effort.

Tucked away in an unassuming corner of town with in Kelly's Beach Resort, KBR restaurant might not catch your eye at first glance, but it certainly captures your taste buds. While the decor could use an update—the furnishings feel a bit tired—the experience is a delightful surprise from start to finish.

The menu boasts fresh ingredients, and each dish reflects that quality. We ordered and shared bruschetta for entree, the rump steak meal, generously portioned, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The salt and pepper calamari was tender, with a nice crisp, and the accompanying salad was fresh and well-dressed, also in a good portion size.

Despite there being only one waitstaff on the floor, the service was friendly and efficient. Meals arrived in good time, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.

Overall, if you can look past the dated decor, the food and service make this spot a hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit for anyone seeking great meals without the fuss!

I recently visited the restaurant and ordered the Crispy Skin Pork Belly with roasted chat potatoes, fresh steamed vegetables, topped with macadamia nuts and a cinnamon & maple glaze. Unfortunately, the meal that I received was far from satisfying. The sauce wasn’t a sauce was more like a soup and was overpoweringly sweet and tasted like pure maple-flavored syrup, and the pork belly itself was tough and difficult to chew and was lacking the “Crispy Skin” it was more like boot leather pork belly on a chat potato and a few carrots and a broccolini soaked in a bath of pure maple syrup. Additionally, the wait for our meals was over an hour, which added to our disappointment. Despite the friendly staff, I couldn't help but feel let down by the overall experience. I only had two bites from my plate and didn't eat anymore. The rest of the meals at our table of 7 were just as disappointing. It's unfortunate to say that I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Had an absolutely fantastic date night. Food and service was fantastic. Couldnt of asked for a better night. Had drinks starters and a main and was in and out within an hour.
