Awesome Tour! If you're wanting something different, Peaceful or Novel, enjoy a Creek Tour. The kayak paddle (Tingalpa Creek, which leaves at Thornside at the end of Railway Parade) was so stunning and felt like an immersion into a water Forest.

I've heard the Brisbane City Tour is quite nice too, if you like something a little more Sophisticated. Boats are sound & Stable and Andrew verrrry rarely has anyone capsize. Feet & Shoes will get wet and maybe you'll splash yourself with your paddle. But! Andrew is a Friendly and Easygoing guide who lets you move at your own speed and allows a lot of Freedom for exploration. Keep doing what you're doing, Andrew! ?

The Tingalpa tour was my favourite, very beautiful but a bit short in my opinion, advertised as an hour thirty minutes tour (without counting getting ready before the tour though) but the reality was slightly different, just an hour doing the loop around the small island. The organiser would argue by saying it depends on people’s abilities, fitness, weather and tide! So, pretty hard to know what you will get in the end. The organiser is only there for safety purposes and not as a tour guide, you won’t get any explanations about fauna and flora. You will have to do your own research!

The Brisbane tour was pretty straight forward, this one went for an hour and a half. It was nice being on the river at dusk getting to see the city lights coming up and flying foxes in the sky. The only thing I would say is the safety light device on the kayak which was made of a piece of PVC pipe with a torch zip tied at the top of it (you can see it on one of the photo). Didn’t look really professional to be fair. One couple on a double kayak had to finish the tour from the corner of the river to the finish point without a working light, all this in the dark!

Andrew was an amazing guide for my family and I. Mum had wanted a group outing that was quiet and peaceful yet still fun and getting outdoors. Kayaking on Tingalpa creek was a perfect option and despite the weather in the beginning, the overcast day suited us perfectly (you're going to get wet anyway while kayaking). A beautiful, tranquil start to the day with good company and beautiful surroundings. Definitely would recommend (don't forget insect repellent for the sand flies ?)

I have had wonderful opportunities to do both the Tingalpa Creek and Brisbane River night Kayak with Kayak Fun. The tours offer very different experiences.

Tingalpa Creek was calm and relaxing tour in a beautiful natural environment.

The Brisbane Wheel, colourful lights, kayaking under bridges and passing ferries make the Brisbane River night tour an exciting way to see the landmarks of Brisbane.

I was looking for a Brisbane kayaking tour and was not disappointed! Andrew was very friendly, the kayaks were fine with nothing negative to note on. The only tip I have is wear thongs as you will need to get ankle/ knee deep to hop in. Also I got really burnt on my legs, so apply sunscreen to your legs!

It really was so much fun with Kayak Fun. Andrew was very organised and made us aware of safety requirements on our trip down the Brisbane River. The views of the buildings and lights of the city and South Bank including the brightly lit Ferris wheel were amazing. I can highly recommend Kayak Fun tours and hope to do some of the other kayak tours on offer. Thanks Andrew for a fantastic evening!

I had the pleasure of an evening kayak tour last Sunday and the experience far exceeded my expectations.
I had never paddled before and was concerned that I'd be able to keep up with the group as it was a windy day. My concerns were unfounded, paddling was easy and lots of fun.
Seeing Brisbane lit up, from the vantage point of low in the water, gave us such a different perspective.
Andrew proved to be a safe but not too restrictive guide and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I wouldn't hesitate to do it again especially when entertaining visitors.
