I visited Cardinia Reservoir today and it was an incredibly calming and relaxing experience. The environment is serene, and in the afternoon, I had the joy of seeing groups of kangaroos hopping around. For someone like me who has spent a long time in the city, this place provided a much-needed connection with nature and its revitalizing energy. Just don’t like some people bringing their speaker and playing music loudly…😒

Lovely place for picnic, for a walk or jogging. Family friendly, you are allowed to bring your bbq equipment and use it at certain areas. Lots of parking and toilet is pretty clean. Very nice view from the trail. The road condition is a little bit upsetting and one of the entrance was closed temporarily. Overall we enjoyed our time in the park.

Wonderful place! But we came too early, and didn't have a chance to see the kangaroos. But the trail is nice for a small walk. This place is huge!

It has a gorgeous bush walking trail and a picnic area and playground. We enjoyed spending our weekend here but if it had more roof- top places, we could stay there even in rainy weather…! But it was good generally. Highly recommended

Definitely kangaroos there, slow down once you’re in to not spook them. Also don’t be an idiot and walk by your self up to a group of kangaroos. Saw a tourist do this and it was hilarious
