Phil and the team are absolutely amazing! Went down the river with the family (including the pooch). Such a great day out. Very well priced and a great day on the water with your family! Boats have shade and plenty of room. Highly recommend.

Great day out,
Although it wasn't as first expected.
Never the less we really enjoyed the nice relaxing self paced canoe down the river, even with low levels of water.
Great breakfast BBQ cooked by Jason.

Take some shoes that your happy to get muddy and wet or done wear any, once you in the canoe u can wash your feet off the side.

Good little 4WD in and out of the area.

The guys are really friendly and happy to help and give advice etc. They've got a bit of a tough gig with the weather and tides playing a big role in the experience.

The low tides and rainfall mean a lot of people end up hiring the small powerboats to simply cross the river (which can easily be done in a few minutes on a paddle board). Still fun, but can end up being an expensive way to see the other side of the inlet (which is lovely).

We stopped in Kalbarri for a week during our Oz travels, and hiring these boats definitely one of the highlights. We were allowed to to bring our dog with us who had a absolute ball as well. Cruised around, bit of fishing stopped over the other side for lunch and swim. Will def do this again next time we're over this beautiful side of Australia.

Easy enough to hire a boat or kayak.
We hired a kayak for an hour and that was enough time to do a lap and spend 10-15 mins on the beach of the other side. Good workout 🙂

Avoid the 4 SEATER PEDAL BOAT. It needs maintenance urgently. I had to help out a young family who did not speak English well. Sure take a phone but tell them or provide them with a waterproof phone case that floats! When I picked up the family they were stressed and tired, they were definitely having no fun. I think the most exciting part for them was when I got them back to shore. They also lost their phone overboard. So a very expensive trip for them.

They had been trying to flag someone for 10mins until I paddled out to them.

Also, I hopped in the boat to peddle it myself. Hence my honest opinion it needs maintenance. It isn't easy to pedal at all and I have outstanding leg strength and youth and even I found it very difficult.

Some days are going to be better than others but this particular day it was slightly windy and once you go 20 meters from shore it can be hard to peddle.

Great experience! Hire a canoe with my partner this morning. View is fabulous on the boat. And Jason is a super friendly guy and BBQ king. Gave us a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend!
