Johnnie’s tour service is fantastic! Reliable, friendly, and professional—his drivers are amazing, and the cars are always clean. We booked a driver for a day to show us some of the sights around Ubud. Our driver was Agus, Johnny’s brother 🙂 Agus was friendly and knowledgeable, and drove well and safely. He supplied cold water for the trip, and the van was comfortable and air conditioned.

We had tons of fun, visiting the monkey forest, a beautiful temple (Puseh Batuan), coffee plantation, wood carving and the Ubud markets. Agus even took photos of us when he was available. There was a sudden downpour while waiting for the car at the end of the trip, and Agus came running down the road with an umbrella. Sprinting to the car, splashing along the pavement in a tropical downpour was actually so fun! (Maybe not for poor Agus).

The price for the day was around 800.000 idr, and (as a New Zealander) I really appreciate that we didn’t have to barter to get this price.

I highly recommend Johnnie’s Tours.

We have known Johnnie many years. He is an excellent tour guide. He organised a tour for 24 people with ATVs, tubing and a river club, a great day out celebrating our daughters 18th birthday. He even went out of his way and surprised her with a cake. Recommend him 100%
