I never usually give out 5 stars, but this place hits every note! Went out for dinner and walked straight in—no hassle, no wait. The food was absolutely fantastic, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive. It’s rare to find a spot that nails both quality and experience, but JJ’s does it effortlessly. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic dinner at this seaside restaurant! The location is perfect, right on the pier with stunning ocean views. The service was warm and attentive, and the menu featured a wide variety of fresh seafood dishes to choose from.

They offer an excellent selection of mussels prepared in different styles, and their seafood chowder is a standout favorite—rich, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and absolutely delicious.

JJ's is one of our favourite places to visit in Batemans Bay.

The seafood is always fresh and tasty. They have a great selection of mussels, and their seafood chowder is a favourite. There are non-seafood options available, too. The kids menu has a few options of a good size.

The wine selection is a minimal mix of Australian and European wines. I can always find something to enjoy with dinner (and the view).

The service is friendly and helpful, and the view is spectacular! It's worth the visit just for a drink on the deck and to enjoy the view.

Had an awesome time at JJ in Batemans Bay! Tara looked after us and was absolutely amazing—so friendly and on point. The food was delicious, super well-seasoned, and packed with flavor.

Everything just came together perfectly for a really great evening. Definitely worth a visit!

Even on a cloudy day, the atmosphere inside JJ’s at The Marina was cheerful and bright. My partner and I shared a serving of sweet potato fries and had the fisherman’s basket for our main since we were not feeling super hungry, and we definitely were not disappointed. The fish was very fresh as expected and so were the calamari rings, and our sweet potato fries were the perfect serving and tasted delicious. My only complaint would be that the prawns were definitely on the salty side, but otherwise was a lovely experience especially with the attentive servers.

Fantastic service and a beautiful meal. Very accommodating, booked an outside table however weather was chilly so happy to move us inside. Service was fantastic, loved all the young people working there who were polite & attentive.
Meals were good size and perfectly cooked.
Will definitely be back soon!
