What a great experience exploring Australia’s past! The displays and grounds were magnificent. The gentleman volunteer so welcoming and kind. So glad we included this on one of our sites to see. Thank you - best wishes for your continued invaluable work!

Visited with a group, and all were really impressed with the range of displays, the information attached and the attractiveness of the museum in general.
A talk at the start of our visit was very informative, and our group spent about 3 hours at the museum, including a lunch catered by the museum (delicious!).
I recommend a visit-the museum delivers much more than you expect from first impressions.
Oh, and the attached craft store is interesting and very inexpensive.

A must see for lovers of Australian history. I felt like I had been transported back in time. Staff were so friendly, well informed and more than willing to answer any questions. The smell of old fire places and lanolin really added to the experience. Well worth the cost to get in. I can't wait to go back.

Quick detour on our road trip from Sydney to Melbourne and totally worth it. A great way to experience how people lived in that time. The caretaker was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the museum, explaining its and the town's history. They also have a tea room that is air conditioned and great for refreshments before heading out.

Mesium lovers best place to try
Mesium maintenance was absolutely great.

Great time looking around this step back in time. A unique look at the lives behind the original German migrants who set the shop up. Plus how life was life in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

What a gem of a find. Well kept and lovingly restored to reflect the hard way of life in the late 1800 early 1900s.
Well worth the hour and a half out took us for $8 each seniors..
