My husband purchased a gift voucher for me as a Christmas gift. I love learning about astronomy. Dimitri was very friendly, informative, and generous with his time and knowledge. It was such a buzz looking at the different planets (especially Jupiter and some of its moons for the first time) and the stars through the telescope. Also listening to stories and learning some constellations. Would thoroughly recommend for a great night out.

We had a fabulous time with Jervis Bay Stargazing. It was fantastic to see the stars and planets in the night sky and have it explained to us by Dimitri . For me, looking through the telescope and seeing Jupiter and the Moon were highlights. I also loved hearing about the other stars and planets and having them pointed out. Now I have some idea what I am looking at. The evening is so well organised and educational as well as entertaining. Dimitri has a wealth of knowledge to share and we were encouraged to ask lots of questions - even the "dumb ones". Maria was also very helpful in making sure we all had a great time. I loved it and I now have a much better understanding of the cosmos. My only regret is the photo - I should have had one taken - they look sensational - will have to go again. This is a great value for money experience run by knowledgeable people and I would encourage others to go, see and learn what is above us. Thanks so much

I highly recommend this good value, fun and interesting experience which is suitable for all ages.
The twilight beach setting was magic.
Dimitri was both knowledgeable and entertaining, and he actively encouraged an interactive experience.
My partner wasn't enthusiastic about coming, but ended up loving the experience, thanks to Dimitri's contagious passion for astronomy and his ability to engage people.
It rained when we arrived, and JB Stargazing made a brave call to get us to wait under the trees until the shower passed, and it was absolutely worth it.
One minor disappointment - 28 people was a much larger group than advertised. This was a surprise when we specifically booked a Tuesday in the hope of an intimate group. They did offer that we could stay a bit later so we all had time at the telescope and with the binoculars. That probably works for participants on holidays, but a later night wasn't ideal for me because I was working the next day.
I was also curious that the ATLAS Comet wasn't mentioned when it was visible in Jervis Bay that week.
Regardless, we are very lucky to have a small business like this in Jervis Bay offering such unique and wonderful experiences!

The stargazing experience was amazing! We visited two locations: Jervis Bay and the Blue Mountains. The former is by the sea, while the latter is in a national park. Seeing mesmerizing planets through the telescope was truly exciting, especially when I observed the bright, cratered surface of the Moon—it was absolutely captivating!

The guides were highly professional and patient, especially Aml in the Blue Mountains. He captured many stars for us throughout the night, extending the originally 1.5-hour tour to 2 hours. His dedication was truly impressive. I highly recommend this stargazing experience to anyone who loves the night sky!

A bunch of us friends gathered in a sheltered spot on the beach to do this stargazing. First we watched the sun set over the estuary, then we saw Venus light up, then the array of planets and stars as the sky darkened. We heard all about them and saw the rings of Saturn through the telescope. It was magical.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! Dimitri and Caroline truly made it memorable, with Dimitri's natural comedic responses making the event not only incredibly informative but also entertaining, and Caroline's friendly and accomodating demeanour, it was a great night that I'd recommend to anyone!
