I recently had the opportunity to visit Jacob's Creek winery in Barossa Valley, and I was very impressed. The winery is located in a beautiful setting with rolling hills and vineyards. The grounds are well-maintained and there is a lovely garden area where you can relax and enjoy the views.
We also had lunch at the Harvest Kitchen restaurant, and the food was delicious. We started with a shared antipasto platter, which was full of fresh and flavorful ingredients. For our main course, I had the lamb shank, which was tender and flavorful. My wife had the steak, which she also enjoyed.
Unfortunately, we were not able to do a wine tasting as they were very busy. However, we were able to purchase a few bottles of wine to take home.
Overall, I had a great experience at Jacob's Creek winery. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing day out in the Barossa Valley. Make a reservation for a wine tasting, especially if you are visiting on a weekend.
The winery is open from 10am to 4.30pm daily. There is plenty of free parking available on site.

Jacobs Creek Winery at Barossa Valley is well worth the trip. Very popular and there are regular bus tours so make sure it's first on your list if your planning a wine tasting and vineyard tour like we did. We got there at opening time and they serve free barista coffee. Lovely! Did the wine tasting and well worth the money.

All hype its a beautiful place but to many rules to follow.

If you sit outside near the restaurant you cant drink alcohol if you sit in jacobs creek you cant eat food. They did not have a high chair for the baby. And the service was slow. The place is good. But the over all experience is poor.

Really beautiful winery, staff are super friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to wine tastings ($10-20) . They had food vans and live music there on the Saturday we went. Really lovely

What a wonderful introduction to wine tasting!

The property and cellar door is picturesque and opens up into the glorious views of vines and the rolling hills beyond. There were plenty of tables and seats all around the property that offered views better than the next.

Having purchased Jacobs Creek for years and visiting Barossa today for the first time, experiencing our first tasting and being lucky enough to have been in the caring hands of DRU -- our afternoon could not have gone better!!

He is beyond knowledgeable and more importantly personable and friendly. He Listened to what we 'thought we liked' and expanded that into 6 new bottles that we truly are in love with.

We will always remember our trip to South Australia and our first tasting at Jacobs Creek!!

Brilliant hospitality from Lauren at Jacob’s Creek. Even though we turned up 5 minutes before closing, she was very kind and generous with some questions I had about their wines, allowing me to still purchase a bottle right on close! Great customer service!

What a wonderful tasting with an extremely knowledgeable host (Masa). The venue is beautiful. It was a lovely touch to provide your designated driver a soft drink or coffee too!
