Came here with relatives who live down this way. Nice place to eat for locals. Sits at a marina, so you maybe able to pull up your boat through the day and walk in. Car parking seemed adequate.

We were so hungry, and we thought it would be good enough to top up a lillt bit before heading back to brisbane.
We ordered 5 dishes, and it turns out everything was absolutely amazing. Especially the pizza with prawn and lemon grass chicken was so good!

Wish I’d looked at the reviews before being recommended this place for food.
Service was fine and place looked amazing, but $75 for some average take away, even forgot the $9 grilled chicken add on in the $26 burrito bowl.
On the road from Vic, hence the takeaway,
Way Overpriced, has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

The fresh Australian Calamari, Chips and Salad and the Lemongrass Chicken (with an Asian vermicelli style salad) was to die for 🤤!! Soo delicious, fresh and well priced! AAA+++ service with a smile 🥰 A massive thanks to all the staff in the restaurant and the bar area who were all so lovely and went above and beyond to make our lunch date perfect!
We will definitely be back again soon! The Ivory is on such a picture perfect spot and hidden gem in the beautiful tweed/ Coolangatta area and situated on our favourite river on the Gold Coast ❤️🦋

One of my favourites, this little gem is well worth the visit. Top consistent cuisine and friendly staff. The setting overlooks the tranquil marina with great views in a relaxed environment. You must visit this one when you're in Tweed. Keep up the great work 👍

Nice setting near the river, pity the food and service lacked so terribly. Probably only good for a drink near the river, save your money if hungry! From the $46 steak that was way overcooked and as tough as old boots (supposed to be medium) to the packet steggles chicken nuggets for the kids with cold fries, the food was a joke to say the least. Then on to service which clearly cater to the local folk who 'know the drill' and any questions are met with a dismissive attitude. Pity as its a nice spot...avoid!

Terrible experience.
We booked the night before, but upon arrival, they had no record of our booking.

Ordered their most expensive pizza ($30) worth no more than $5, and it was not only the worst pizza on the Gold Coast but also severely undercooked—the base was barely 3-4mm thick and completely pale. The entrée calamari rings were just as bad, white and clearly not fried or properly cooked.

Don't expect table service because there isn't any. Definitely never going back.

Mediocre would be a charitable description for the food - it was badly prepared and badly served. Badly prepared - I had pasta which was both bland and watery, my wife ordered a stake which was boot tough. Badly served - pasta was cold and the steak which has been ordered well done came blood rare (literally - I tried a bit to see just how tough it was and ended up with blood drops up my arm).

Service was no better - I've seen friendlier bar staff in the away fans stand at a football match, though the staff doing the food service were ok.

Atmosphere was a "meh" at best.

I gave two stars because no one got sick and our car didn't get vandalised.
