Pete and I were one of the first couples to say "yes to the venue" before the renovations started. When Alyssa and Travis showed us around and spoke about their vision for the place you could hear the passion they had for their new venue. They also spoke about all the potential photo opportunities that the golf course had to offer. Pete and I were sold.

It's been amazing watching their vision come to fruition. The space they have created is absolutely beautiful.

Pete and I planned to have an outdoor ceremony. Unfortunately mother nature intervened and rain was forecast for the whole day. So the day before the wedding, Ivory Pavilion informed us we were going to plan B.

Alyssa, Travis and the team at Ivory Pavilion went above and beyond to help make our new indoor ceremony special.

Pete and I had an absolutely amazing day/night, full of love, laughter, fun and dancing. We would like to say thank you to Alyssa, Travis, Heidi and all the staff at Ivory for creating such a magical place for our special day. We are truly grateful xxx

Ladybug Entertainment DJ & Photobooth Hire

Alyssa and Travis run an amazing wedding venue. They have completely transformed the upstairs room of the Buninyong Golf Club. The venue is spacious, has a huge stage and the staff are great. We provided entertainment for several weddings there before relocating north. If you are looking for amazing wedding photos and a venue you will get the all in one package

I’ve been following Alyssa and Travis’ since the beginning. It’s been a pleasure to watch this place become such a beautiful venue. Like I said in my thank you speech, they have turned a dream into a reality and I couldn’t been more proud. Thank you Alyssa & Jade for running the day and Travis & team for running the bar. 100% recommended. This place is stunning and has the option to have the ceremony outside on the golf course. We were lucky enough to have the most perfect weather for the most perfect day. Thank you guys!!

We booked Ivory Pavilion to have our special day. When we booked our date we saw the potential of having a memorable day. The ceremony is shared site at a golf course with picturesque areas for photos. The reception is a modern venue with new facilities.

After paying our full amount for the venue and at our first meeting with the event manager we were notified the ceremony site has been moved with no other outdoor options. We were disappointed initially as we booked the venue for the site we were promised. When we saw the new ceremony site in person we were both very let down. The new site backs onto residential housing/backyards and during our ceremony our guests could hear yelling from the residents. The new site is also on a slope which made very difficult to get elderly people to and from without the use of golf cart which were promised and was advertised.
We hired a wedding planner for our day who did an amazing job with decorating the venue and tables. We also hired her to run the day however we found out the next day the venue event manager wouldn’t work alongside and disregarded our set timeline. During the later part of the reception I was searching to find the event manager only to find out she has finished work and we relied on bar staff for assistance.
Our package including drinks was paid and planned till 10:30pm with guest living at 11pm. Unfortunately our night ended at 10pm with no explanation and event manager no where to be seen.
The staff and bar staff did show amazing service to all our guests and kept the tables clear of empty glasses. The bar staff showed initiative in absence of the event manager.
This venue had potential but unfortunately it failed to delivery for our day.

I attended a wedding at this venue as Maid of Honour to the bride, and unfortunately the overall experience was less than stellar.
The venue itself is set on a golf course, which isn’t an issue at all, however upon attending the venue for a rehearsal the day before the wedding, we saw that the new ceremony location was only meters away from people’s houses, and was on quite uneven ground which made it difficult for the older attendees to move around before and after the ceremony.
The reception venue itself was nice and modern on the inside, with a separate area for cocktail hour. The bar staff were excellent, however there seemed to be a disconnect between the venue manager and the wedding planner. Other guests pointed out some areas of disorganisation that they had noticed also.
Whilst the wedding party was waiting to make their entrance into the reception, there was some sort of issue regarding candles being lit within the reception hall. I am unsure what the confusion was but I had multiple people come up to me during the evening and ask why the venue manager was going around blowing out all of the candles. I believe that issue could’ve been handled in a more discreet manner.
At one point during the night, just before 9pm, I was asked by the groom to find the venue manager to get some lights turned on for something that was happening. I went to the bar and asked where the manager was only to be told that she had left for the night. I would’ve expected that the venue manager be there for the duration of the event, as we were left unsure of who was ‘in charge’ and who we could go to if we had any questions or concerns during the evening.
We were told that the reception was due to conclude at 11pm, however at 10pm the lights were turned on and the bar closed. People then started to leave because they thought they had to, and because the venue staff started packing up and cleaning all around us.
I wouldn’t recommend using this venue for your wedding. In my opinion, the venue manager had an unprofessional attitude towards both the wedding planner and the wedding party, and was not easy to approach with concerns or questions.
The bride did not have the special, relaxing day she was hoping (and paid) for.

As someone who recently got married here, I couldn't recommend this venue enough! Such a perfect mix of elegance, casual and gorgeous setting! My day was perfect and the team were all there to make sure my day went smoothly!
