Unfortunately our first trip to the races happened to coincide with Spring Cup (AKA especially loud 20/30-ish year olds drinking too much too quickly, not interested in watching any horse racing day) event.

*Five stars because of grounds & location *

Highlights: speaking with the male marshall/retrainer near the stables.
The venue itself: beautiful, well-kept grounds.
Fantastic handy location!
Rider/horse safety accountable: hence racing abandoned after R4.

Lowlights: so many drunk, loud obnoxious people.
Quickly discovering unless you know the venue's layout signposts/directions aren't easy to find.
Persistent rain makes the track unsafe, hence abandonment of R5 onwards.
Six people's most unpleasant unprofessional treatment (starting with parading female) of a visibly VERY distressed horse (#10?) last in the Birdcage)).
Most area's are inaccessible/unsuitable for wheelchairs.
Could see ONE Disability car park.

I was a guest at an event in one of the upstairs rooms. There was a morning tea service, which was simple baked goods and fruit. I am unsure whether they cater to special dietary requirements. The staff were friendly and efficient

We had our wedding reception here and we really enjoyed our experience here. The service from the team, especially from Carley was amazing! They accommodated our needs as much as possible and assisted when they could. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a reception venue within the Ipswich area!

Great venue lacking one toilet.
Major fail only one operating coffee van.
Clan event well done but needs override pa promoting events.
Tried hard with covid. Needed more attention for stairs.
Will like to go again.

A great day at the Ipswich Cup with a food and beverage package. Found it a little challenging working out which gate to enter by with minimal signals. Parking seemed to be a challenge too!

Go to the Barn.at the racecourse . All u can eat for $19.00 include softdrink very nice please book but not essential
