My wife and I just experienced Intrepid's ' 13 days 'Morocco Uncovered Tour' - Highly recommend this tour, which has given us experiences we shall cherish forever. Our brilliant local tour leader, Mustapha, created a great comradery & handled all situations professionally, with a great sense of humour. We have experienced many varied tours over the years and this is one of the best. Hoping to carry on touring until we drop - Seize the Day!

Just recently completed by first trip with Intrepid, which was a 7 day cycling trip in the Balkans. Our guide Mario was so much fun and I met a great bunch of people on the trip. The routes taken were safe and so spectacular. Was so impressed by Intrepid. As were 2 people on our trip, who for them it was their 15th and 8th trips with Intrepid. I now can't wait to book my 2nd trip with them!!

Cycle Tanzania - A lifetime trip to remember. Physically and mentally challenging, an amazing blend of biking, safari and wild life, culture, people and the land. The Intrepid team were amazing, professional and fun, we became a family! Their knowledge and love for the outdoors and their environment apparent at every step. Intrepid's policy to give back to the communities evident and to be applauded. Would recommend to anyone up for the biking challenge, experiences and adventure along the way.

Just completed 15 days on the Beautiful Northern Thailand tour and had a fantastic time.
The itininery was really great with a mixture of activities and our guide Maled would have to be the best guide we have had with Intrepid, always anticipating and helping us to experience the real culture.
Totally recommend it

Our first trip with Intrepid and I highly recommend our Vietnam and Cambodia tour. Well organised and flexible when catering to individual needs. We really enjoyed interacting with locals and community groups as part of the activities. Tour guides were informative and approachable which enhanced the tour. Now looking at other intrepid tours!

Uzbekistan - May. Wonderful trip in every way. History and culture were the opening attractions and these were compelling. Made more so by a superb guide who brought everything to life, providing the detail as well as the 'big picture'. I was surprised and delighted by the quality of the crafts and the food. Great being in a small group that was well organised and did the off the beaten track stuff as well as the Old Silk Road highlights. Totally recommended.

Cambodia, travelling with Teenagers
Review by my teenager:
I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have had Sakmony as our group leader. He shared so much knowledge and I felt completely engaged in what he had to share throughout the entire trip. At temples, at local restaurants, even on the bus rides I don’t think he could’ve done a better job at educating us on the history, culture and customs of Cambodia. He came with such a friendly face right from the start, and I felt comfortable to ask any questions or to have a laugh with him and the group. The trip was so well organised, he informed us the times we had to be places and was extremely helpful on the organisation of the trip. Sakmony made the families his priority when it came to our safety, experience, and our enjoyment throughout the entire trip. He educated us on local games, even gifting us a hackysack to keep.
I am so grateful to have Sakmony as our leader and to have experienced Cambodia with such an amazing group of people. The social aspect of intrepid made it 1000x better and I would highly recommend our group leader to any group of people as I personally would ensure that they would have an amazing time and that all their expectations would be met.
Thankyou Sakmony, our family will never forget this amazing experience.

I could not recommend Intrepid as a travel company more. Their ethos of enabling couples and families to fulfil trips of a lifetime while at the same time protecting the planet and empowering the communities that travellers visit is very impressive. We travelled to Kenya visiting cities, game reserves, communities and we travelled as a family of six from Ireland and we joined another family from Australia of five and grand parents and we could not have embraced or experienced the journey together better. We left Nairobi on an off road bus for an 8 day safari with three beautiful people, our Leader, Jackie, our driver Edwin and the wonderful chef Avi. They were exceptional, kind, sensitive, thoughtful and always thinking about the needs of a family. My advice for families, the journeys are inspirational but challenging with sometimes 5 to 6 hour road trips so ensure the kids know all this before you travel, wifi is intermittent so travel board games are good or a pack of cards, plenty of medication such as travel sickness , glucose packs for ticky tummies, deet to deal with insects etc a must. We always felt safe and the trips are incredible but for small ones can sometimes be challenging so kids need to be a bit resilient, overcome the tiredness, deal with minor aches and pains etc. It is good to chat as a family before you go as this will ensure you fully embrace the experience. The communities and people we visited were truly unique human beings and despite many challenges always have a smile and hope for a better future. Wait to buy things at the smaller communities don't rush to the big stores, bring binoculars that attach to your smart phone, wide rimmed hats to keep sun off, loose clothing to let the breeze cool you, good pair of trainers, bring blow up pillows for the tents, be prepared to help the crew with wash up or cooking or peeling veg etc help the crew when you can. Overall this is a trip of a lifetime and memories you and your family will cherish forever . Jambo Jambo.
