Cheapest in Ingham. Rooms certainly need to be better serviced. Bathroom shower quite dirty. Restaurant no longer going.

We arrived to check in and we had originally booked two rooms because there was no availability in the one room for 3 guests. We had called to check with them before booking.

When we checked in, the girl on the desk told us they did actually have a room for 3 and then offered us a refund for the 2nd room that we had booked if we wanted to do that. We said that would be great and that they could resell the room so it was win win! The lady on the desk then stated "nah that's too much work for me" (they had a big group of rugby lads in) but said the owner would sort the refund in the morning as "she didn't know how to process it".

When we arrived to check out, the very rude manager/owner told us no to the refund and "not his problem" and we booked 2 rooms so it was our choice not to use the second one. We didn't even get a key for this room when we checked in!! Had we known this originally and not been given the wrong info, we would have course just used both rooms as that was what we had been expecting anyway. Why are the staff offering refunds when it is not possible just to save their workload? Given it was her error, it's basic customer service that this could have been honoured as we only used one room, that's all we should pay for.

Aside from the rudeness and bad attitude of the staff (and a blatant lie to save their work for "housekeeping" the next day having one less room), the rooms were also very unclean. Nothing had been wiped over. Duvets smelled like they've never been washed. Towels were stained. Cobwebs everywhere. Hair and mould in the shower. Ac leaked.

We regularly stay in motels and also work in the industry and we couldn't recommend this place less unfortunately and it really tainted our trip.

We stayed there last night for our pink trip. This motel was disgusting. The receptionist was extremely rude, and told us a blatant lie when we arrived at check in and found out that they had had us book two rooms when we only wanted a double queen room for 3 of us woman. When we asked if we could get refunded for one of the rooms and just take the one double queen room she said yes, and she will leave a note for the manager to deal with in the morning. Upon returning in the morning the manager was extremely rude and refused to refund us for a room we didn't even use as they couldn't re sell it. We arrived at 1pm and they had plenty of time to re sell it but quote unquote the receptionist said the day before that will just add to her work load. Obviously we had booked two rooms only after calling and speaking to the manager who told us the one double queen room wasnt available (that was a lie) if we had of known that we would not of been refunded we would of taken both rooms anyway in the hopes the second room might be cleaner. The manager was then extremely rude to us, nasty and not helpful in the slightest. This has had us leave extremely upset and uneasy at how a small town motel is supposed to be after reading clear lies on there reviews. The room was disgusting. The towels were all stained, the doona was stained and smelt like it hadn't been washed for years. The bathroom had hair everywhere, aircon leaked throw out the night. There were dead flys around the windows seal, the bedside tables had stale peanuts in them which looked like they had been there for a few months. Chairs had dirt all over them. Honestly have to say I am truly disgusted that this place is even allowed to operate and will be calling the health inspectors and complaining. Disgusting is the only word I can use.
I would highly recommend to anyone going through this small town to never ever stay at this motel.
Absolutely apalled and disgusted. Thank God we are on our way back home to Cairns.

Stayed here as there was no other places with vacancy. Very low rent, very grubby and run down. Questions; Why was there rusted old outdoor furniture featured IN the room? Why did my bathroom smell so strongly of Parmisan cheese? Why were there so many long hairs everywhere? Why were ALL the mismatched coffee cups so dirty?
Why does the fan make as much noise as the in wall AC?
So many other questions. On the plus side the check in was very friendly and the fella running it seemed like a great bloke. Plus I had a chatty little gecko hiding out somewhere in my room.
$110 a night so not complaining just letting others know.

Great service, my car broke down just outside of Ingham late at night and the lady came and opened up just to give us a room .
$109.00 is pretty good and the rooms are clean .
Everything you'd expect from a motel.

Nothing to fault at all!
My sister our husbands and children all stayed there, so it’s definitely kid friendly not like other places where you go and get the side eye from others staying there because you have children.
Dennis and the rest of the team were super helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was nothing but perfect.
The rooms were lovely and clean the fans and air cons were clean and fresh! I’m big on a decent bathroom and the bathrooms were A1. We all will be returning ?

Very nice staff, one phone call in the late afternoon got us and our pup a comfy room for the night for the right price. Views on a paddock full of Wallabies and curlews and close to town. Great little stay, thank you!
