Thank you for being here, my lifesaver!!! Looks like a family-run business and the curries are genuinely authentic and amazing. I cannot be more descriptive about the mind-blowing curries except using ‘perfect’ and ‘consistent’. I have tried ordering at least 5 time within a year across the options on the menu, and never disappointed. The location is so convenient with parking and it opens at 5:30pm, which is great timing when I feel too tiring to cook!

Menu log order number 913175225,date 14 May 2025. Ordered paneer and chicken which was inedible.The gravy was runny ,no salt and colour was awful yellow..Awful taste. Looks like they changed chef and clearly this one has no idea

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Consistently Delicious and Wonderful Service

This restaurant has become our go-to place for dining, the food is always absolutely delicious, and what impresses us the most is the consistency. Every single time, the taste is the same flavourful, fresh, and satisfying. We never even think of trying another restaurant!

The service is just as amazing. Today we originally placed a takeaway order, but when we went to collect it, my family suddenly decided to dine in instead. It was around 9 PM, and we could tell the staff might have been winding down for the night, but they still welcomed us with big smiles and no hesitation at all. They made sure we were comfortable and kept checking in to ask how everything was.

It’s also a perfect place to go with family, warm atmosphere, kind staff, and a menu that has something for everyone. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special outing, this place always feels just right.

It’s rare to find a place that delivers both top-quality food and such warm, welcoming service time after time. Highly recommended!

Was skeptical but my friend who is a regular here took us here. 6 of us walked in without a booking for early dinner on a Saturday. I have to say I was surprised by how clean and spacious it was ( including the toilets). Food was great too! Hit the spot..was not oily or too salty which is a constant sore point at many Indian restaurants. We really enjoyed the samosa chaat, methi kulcha, palak paneer, methi chicken and Punjabi chicken curries. Was not a big fan of the lassi ( too thick for me) but otherwise we are glad to have found a joint that might be our regular for our North Indian cuisine fix 🙂

We had such a fantastic dinner at Star Dhaba. First off, the server (lady) was so kind, inviting and well spoken. What a lovely staff member! Secondly, the food was top notch. We ordered the Tikki Chaat with Dahi, Kashmiri Naan, Aloo Baingan, Goat Vindaloo, Paneer Tikka Masala, Jeera Rice and Gulab Jamun. Everything was absolutely fantastic, flavourful and we were extremely impressed. The drinks were also very reasonably priced, unlike many other restaurants. We were particularly blown away by the Aloo Baingan as it had such a wonderful smokey flavour which is not often found in veggie dishes. Our only regret is that we have not dined here sooner, considering we only live 5 minutes away.

The butter chicken at this restaurant is simply amazing!!!! This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever dined in at. The owners are very kind and friendly. The restaurant is very clean. I will come here again in the future to try the other dishes they have on the menu. Thank you so much for satisfying my intense craving for butter chicken!

We ordered takeaway and was really impressed with the quality of the food. Kids devoured a butter chicken and chicken tikka. I wish I had of doubled our order of garlic naan. Samosa had a bit of spice, but the tamarind sauce was awesome. We will definitely have food from here again.
