Fantastic Hotel, top friendly service. Huge beer garden, partly covered for inclement weather. Live music now & then. Restaurant with beautiful food. Hugh carpark with room for self sufficient caravans and motorhomes, give them a call to see if they have a spot available. Accomodation upstairs, rooms are great, different configurations, with reverse cycle air / heating. A great place to stay if visiting Tamworth or the surrounding areas. Support the local hotels, these guys spend a lot of time and money and have take great pride in their venues. Highly recommend.

Ordered the rump steak and it was 9/10, great steak, generous serving of chips and salad and the mushroom sauce was on point. I tried to eat here on a Monday night and the only thing that upset me was that it wasn’t open and I had to eat at the rsl, buu hey everyone needs a day off.
Overall great staff, cold beer and a friendly atmosphere. Would recommend

A Most Unfortunate Encounter: A Review of the Service Rendered

My dear reader,

It is with a heavy heart and no small measure of disbelief that I recount the most vexing experience I endured at the hands of a certain elder gentlewoman who, by some cruel twist of fate, was entrusted with the noble duty of customer service.

Upon entering the establishment—a place I had hoped would offer warmth and civility—I was met not with the customary smile or genteel greeting, but with a countenance so cold and withering, I feared I had stepped into the very heart of the Arctic.

Requests—polite and properly uttered—were met with audible sighs and glares so pointed.

One might expect that age would refine one’s manners as a fine wine matures in the cellar but alas it doesn’t

In conclusion, should you desire service that is warm, prompt, and even passably civil, I implore you: seek it elsewhere. For in this house, the only thing more bitter than the tea is the temperament of the server.

Great food, great value and great service.
We arrived at 2.15pm - unlike most establishments, they were only too happy to provide a lunch.
We had the steak sandwich and squid - both were excellent.
The Imp is our first choice in Quirindi.

The Impy is a great pub in a good location; a stone’s throw from the main drag of town. Ted the publician is great and provides a terrific service. Free camping out the back, but make sure to pop in as a thanks. Must be self-contained. Food & beer well priced too. Highly recommend a visit

Stayed in the free camp area behind the pub. Had a great feed. Staff were friendly and professional. Publican was polite. Meals were fantastic quick and well priced, service was excellent. Recommend this pub stay. Interesting area to explore
