A great place to live – peaceful, convenient, and friendly staff

I spent my first year in Australia living here, and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which made a huge difference when settling into a new country.

The rooms are well soundproofed, which is perfect if you enjoy a quiet environment — I really appreciated that. The study room downstairs is easy to book and very convenient for students. If you like exercising, there's a 24/7 gym in the building, which I used regularly.

The location is amazing:

2 minutes to IGA through the back entrance

2 minutes to a park with tennis courts, a basketball court, and even a practice wall

5-minute walk to the train station

Plenty of cafés nearby, and Coles is just one train stop away

One of the best features is the secure parcel lockers — no lost packages, ever. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and smoothly. The room also has a TV with screen mirroring, perfect for relaxing after a long day.

If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and well-located place with excellent service, I highly recommend it. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of during my entire stay.

I'm really grateful for my time at Iglu Summer Hill! I was there for my first year of uni and living in Sydney.
- The room was set up perfectly, there was plenty of storage, a lovely green outlook and modern facilities.
- The rooms are private, including own bathroom and kitchen and the security of the building was reassuring.
- The staff are so lovely and friendly and really make you feel at home.
- The opportunity to get involved with the community through a variety of fun events was brilliant!
- I loved the location. Apart from being right on the station, which is super convenient for getting to uni and other parts of Sydney I loved being right next door to the park and close to walkways and cycleways and the cute village centre.
I would definitely recommend Iglu Summer Hill for anyone moving to Sydney for uni!

The staff are excellent, the location is great, and the apartments are well-maintained and designed to provide all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

One of the standout features of Iglu Summer Hill is the helpful and friendly staffs at the reception. Arroj and Mel are always available to assist and provide guidance on any issues or concerns. They are highly professional and provide a welcoming and warm environment for me and all students.

The location of the apartment is also ideal for students. It is only a few steps close to the train station, IGA shops, and other amenities. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area where students can hang out and relax and I recommend Envy, it really taste good.

The rooms are spacious and come fully furnished, which made moving in so easy. The kitchen is great, with everything you need to cook your meals, and there’s a big communal lounge area where you can relax or study with friends. I love that there’s a quiet study room as well for when I need to focus on assignments.
