I’ve been to iFLY a couple of times in 2022, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional, making you feel safe and supported throughout the whole process. The activity itself is an indoor skydiving experience in a vertical wind tunnel, and it’s truly unique — you get the sensation of flying without needing to jump out of a plane.

One important tip: make sure to arrive at least one hour before your booking time. The website also mentions this, and it’s absolutely necessary. Before you fly, the team gives you a short briefing about the theory behind the experience, plus instructions on body position and safety. They also provide all the gear, including the suit, helmet, and safety equipment. Once, I made the mistake of arriving only a few minutes before my scheduled session, and I almost didn’t have enough time to get ready properly. So I highly recommend arriving early!

For beginners or those just wanting to try it out for fun, I suggest adding on the High Fly option. It costs extra, but it’s really worth it. The instructor will take you higher up in the tunnel, and the feeling is absolutely thrilling. It’s an unforgettable add-on and especially fun if you’re visiting with kids or family. Overall, iFLY is a must-try experience if you want something exciting and different!

Had a great first time experience with iFLY downunder Penrith. Staff was assistive. I took extra flights as well as High Add-on. The instructor was patient and took good care of us right from the beginning till the end of session. Eventually I want to do Sky Diving, and this experience boosted my confidence. I was in a rush but managed to find parking next to Pullman Sydney, which is bang opposite. I would recommend to try iFLY at least once to discover your flying abilities and let go of some fear.

We took our 2 kids to ifly today and OMG the instructors were amazing, especially Amie she was absolutely beautiful, she took the time to try to talk my daughter into going back into the fly zone when she freaked out they even turned the wind off so she could walk in instead of falling in and she had the best time.
The staff that worked today are a massive credit to your company!

Ifly downunder is the best tunnel in Australia. Staff are friendly and it's the biggest tunnel in Australia.

If it's your first time you need 2 hrs to complete the whole process. Make sure you book double length flights to really enjoy. Takes you a little bit to get into a flying position at first and having that double length makes a difference. A high fly to the top is also something to do at least once.

Flying is super easy. Instructions will get you into a position that will have you easily flying in no time.

You need to be there an hour before you fly for check-in, briefing and getting into the gear. Your flight will be in a 30 minute session. The tunnel is setup to take pictures and video if you want them.

Great experience, and with a small bit of practice you can fly around yourself.

The staff will set you up for a good experience.

Amazing new experience and good to feel like a solo skydiver. Too much fun. I will recommend to go higher flight for extra 20$ as that is more thrilling and fun.

My best friend is a frequent flyer and my 8 year old daughter has been there twice and loved it. Tassio is an amazing instructor, so good with kids! Thumbs up iFly Penrith, you guys rock!!
