Check in very smooth. Hotel superb. King deluxe room is an excellent choice for 2 people. Room quiet, bed very comfortable. Room service first rate: waiter extremely courteous; food delivered promptly; good quality and quantity. Electronic check out is very simple. It is a great place to stay, and we will return next time in Canberra.

Best hotel in Canberra, a different league. Sometimes they are under $300 a night which is great value. The room is immaculate and super clean, the bathroom is the face of luxury. Very quiet, did not hear anything. Continental Buffet was $35 Australian dollar. Huge value as the level and variety of food, fresh juices, barista coffee were all amazing.

Once again the Hyatt Canberra did not disappoint. The staff, especially Hyulan in the tea room, were outstanding and very attentive. The food was fantastic too. We stayed in a Park Suite which made our stay very comfortable and quiet. We loved the club house pool.

The room was fine, the bed was really comfortable and the location was good.
I did however find the service rubbish especially for the price you pay.
I rang room service to get a bucket of ice sent up to my room and no answer so I rang the concierge and they said no problem we will have one sent up straight away....1hour n 15 min later still no ice bucket so I rang room service again this time they answered and I asked again...another 15 min and I finally got my ice bucket.
On leaving I forgot my phone charger (my bad)...as soon as I got home I rang and told them, gave them my room number and name...they said they would check with house keeping and ring me straight back...that was 5 days ago still no call.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My recent stay at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra had both positives and negatives. The rooms were clean, well-presented, and met my expectations in terms of comfort and aesthetics. The location is excellent, with close proximity to attractions like Questacon, making it convenient for exploring the area.

My kids absolutely loved the pool and the 24-hour spa in the clubhouse, which was a fantastic feature and added to our overall experience.

However, the service did not meet the standard I anticipated. Upon arrival, we got lost trying to locate our room as there was no map or clear directions provided. Although a staff member eventually came to guide us after we called for assistance, this initial confusion could have been avoided with better instructions.

Another issue was the delay in getting milk for the bar fridge. I initially requested it with the checkin officer and while I was told it would be delivered, it never arrived. I had to call again next morning when I needed it to make coffee, and only then was it brought to the room.

Overall, while the hotel offers a clean and well-located stay, along with great facilities for families, the service could use significant improvements to match the high expectations one would have for a Hyatt property.

Good hotel with lot of facilities..it’s an old government building (prime ministers residence or something ) which they converted in to a nice hotel . It might get bit too busy during some times of the year and it is good to avoid this one during busy period..I got downgraded because the rooms were full. As a side note - I was told that there is a tunnel from cbd to the hotel - not sure if it’s right..make sure you are trying it when you visit..I will try it next time..
Anyway, first experience was good and will visit again..

Went to Canberra to see some exhibitions at various museums, and also to try some local restaurants. The Hyatt is an excellent option. Very, very comfortable, with excellent staff - really attentive and knowledgeable - and a fantastic central location, within minutes of most places. We could even stroll to the National Library and the National Gallery and it was a very short taxi ride to our chosen restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed.
