Great location. Exceptional apartment. Fantastic time.

Entering the apartment we had an instant homely feeling. Arriving there on a cold and rainy Melbourne winter day we opened the door to a calm and cozy getaway. With natural materials, beautifully picked furniture and accessories and above all the comfort of a warm floor it is just a great place to be. For us this was the first time we got to experience this kind of comfort outside of Europe. Although the apartment is just a stone’s throw from South Melbourne Market, we found it hard to leave. The bed was comfy, shower amazing and we managed to read through all the great books on the shelf. A private balcony offers great views of the city skyline and we also made use of the communal terrace and open fireplace. It was really easy to get there by public transport and there are a lot of great restaurant and coffee options in walkable distance. For inspiration, there was a wonderful list of seasonal things to do in the area waiting for us on the dining table.

We loved our stay here and recommend it highly. Would love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at HV.Hotel! The proximity to amenities was unbeatable, with the South Melbourne Market and shops along Clarendon Street just a stone's throw away.

The double-glazed windows kept the apartment quiet during the night (very impressive) and the thoughtfully chosen utensils and housing supplies really elevated the way we used the space.

Additionally, the fresh air provided by the efficient air systems added to the overall comfort of our stay. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the best time over the weekend staying here. The apartment is so spacious for a two bedroom, a dinning area, big bathroom, sunny balcony with city views and fully integrated kitchen with Vzug appliances!
It was eye opening to have stayed at a fully electric building, the temperature was perfect and great acoustics.

We loved the location, so close to the South Melbourne Market, perfect to grab a coffee and a bite. HV is the perfect staycation spot in Melbourne

The HV.Hotel was undoubtedly the nicest space that I've ever stayed in. It was impossible to not feel incredibly spoilt surrounded by the curation of thoughtful books, gorgeous furniture, sleek kitchen (incl. a cool induction stove-top), and artistic decorations. Some of the finer details that I also really enjoyed was the nicest smelling handwash I've ever used and the tastiest olive oil that I've ever cooked with!

The immaculate aesthetic of the hotel was all the most improved by the feel of the space. It kept it's internal temperature remarkably consistent even during a cold Melbourne evening, and I was super comfy walking around bare-footed and in my PJs. I'm sure the European-style timber windows also helped keep the heat in, as closing the large sliding door in the lounge felt super solid as it slid into place. From a sustainability perspective, I also really appreciated the 'save' switch, that automatically shut off any energy consuming devices when leaving the hotel room.

Spending some time around the apartment building, on the rooftop garden space and Bike Gallery downstairs, the occupants in the other apartments were sure to greet me. So, it was really nice to see that there was such a friendly atmosphere within the wider apartment building.

I would definitely stay here again!

I feel I had won the accommodation jackpot staying at the HV.Hotel -
Location 10/10, quietness 10/10, styling 11/10 (so many thoughtful touches & great quality products), and even though was caught in howling rain and wind Monday night, it was fabulous to return to a warm and cosy haven!! And all the wet clothes dried overnight on the airing rack.
The perfect experience of Melbourne!! 🙂

I had a wonderful stay at HV.Hotel last week. The apartment is well designed, with well-curated furniture and maximised functional spaces for its footprint.

The place is extremely comfortable - I was there in the middle of winter and was perfectly warm indoors, without needing to turn on the heater. As someone with allergies, I notice the air quality, and it was great in HV.Hotel. I didn't even need to take an antihistamine to survive (v. unusual for me)! Its proximity to the many food options at South Melbourne Market was great, though a purchased coffee did not compare to the one I brewed on the induction cooktop with the complimentary Padre beans.

Overall, it was a fantastic showcase of sustainable design and living, and a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

What an amazing apartment. I have followed HvH for some time and was very excited to experience this space first hand.
The design, build and location are all superb. Touched off with beautifully curated styling and furniture.

This space exemplifies the convergence of design and sustainability and it was really a pleasure to be able to experience this.

I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to experience how good environmentally conscious, apartment living should be.
