Giving it 4 stars as my previous good experiences have been better than my last one. The food was quite OK… but I expect more than OK when I eat out. May be it was Ramadan fatigue for the staff. By the way if you still go there the Kachi Biryani is the go to dish … (goat) the other dish in the photo is the chicken roast set. Comes with aromatic rice.

We had dinner there last night. Although the food was great in taste, it ruined our tummys and gave us food poisoning. Me and my wife travelled from another state and while looking for bengali food, this was came up. We went in and ate and overnight we got food poisoning which we are still recovering from. This is very unethical of them.

24/10 - Overall experience is below average.

We took khichuri and duck curry - 3/5 (average)
Begun bhorta and chingri bhorta -2.5/5, wasn’t bad but the begun bhorta was more like an achar than a classic.
2x Morog polao - 3/5 (just average)
Beef khichuri - 3/5 ( just average)

Service was not satisfactory. The beef khichuri arrived really really really late.
They did not have tea. Their quality was better before, i used to fancy bhaat bhorta and other items, i used to travel all the way from north ryde to rockdale, they are degrading

Lately went back again with friends - but foods were undoubtedly below average! Such a shame as at once they were insanly good and went many occasions but this time we ordered Beef Tehari and Bhuna Kichuri - I never tasted that bad foods in my whole life! That’s it - wouldn’t visit again and wouldn’t recommend either.

Today we went for a Christmas lunch in HutBazar Rockdale. We ordered two Beef tehari, Butter chicken, Naan, Chotpoti and tea after the meal. Each and every food item was awful. It has a disappointing taste, not worth going there to have food. We advise everyone not to go there to try Bangladeshi food as it’s not worth it. Beef tehari was tasteless, butter chicken was too sweet, the tea had a burning smell to it and chotpoti was just boiled peas without any masala. So much disgusting.
