I stayed at Hurstville Ritz Hotel several times over the past three years and always had the best experience which is the reason for my return. Firstly, I must mention that the Hotel Licensee/Manager, Georgio has always been very helpful and goes out of his way to resolve any issues quickly in the most friendly manner. The rooms I stayed in were clean and tidy and well appointed with all amenities as advertised in the menu. Georgio has been very kind and courteous attending to a cancellation and refund without any fuss or questions. He was very understanding and efficient about this transaction. I recommend this facility of similar price range as it compares superior to many others in this locality.

Was meant to be a quick weekend stop — couple nights, few beers, reset the mind. But honestly? This place kinda got to me. The steak was way better than it needed to be (medium rare, nailed it), the bar had this low-key energy — like locals and wanderers just coexist without trying too hard.

Had a few too many shots Saturday night, laughed with people I didn’t know an hour before. Staff didn’t hover, but somehow always showed up right when you needed something. That balance is rare.

Not perfect. Just real. And sometimes that’s all you need.

Stayed here on a business trip for a week and I hope I’m spelling his name correctly but Giorgio was probably the greatest staff personnel I’ve ever had to deal with! Very accomodating very helpful and just a good human!
Hats off to him what an absolute legend!

The best customer service I’ve ever had at a hotel. |We checked in and were warmly welcomed and treated as if we were family staying. |The staff are all so helpful, friendly and think ahead as to what you might need, before you even need to ask. |I had a procedure done on my knee and when we got back from hospital on crutches, the staff offered me ice for my knee, offered us a table with a cushioned seat and brought us a complimentary bowl of wedges. I just thought that was the most thoughtful and kindest gesture.|A big thank you especially to Dean & Pukar for your kindness and wonderful service.|We booked this hotel as it was close to Hurstville Private Hospital, where I was having a procedure done. Also because it is right near the train station, restaurants, the mall and supermarket. It is close to everything you need. ||For the price we thought it represented very good value for money. We booked the triple room just to have a bigger room and was a nice big room exactly as shown in the photos. |(More of a note to the owners) in room 5 the carpet needs a steam clean next to the single bed but otherwise clean and the bathroom needs a new vanity, but was also clean. |The bed was very comfortable with nice clean white linen. |We also liked that tea, coffee and bikkies were provided and didn’t expect it for the price we paid. |Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. For budget accommodation we expected less, but got a whole lot more. The staff there really make this place, and because of them we decided we would stay again in future and would recommend the Hurstville Ritz to others.

Although a little eerie without Steve at the helm. Jessie was an Angel. The most hospitable compassionate bar Manager I've had the pleasure of speaking to. It was good to be back for a couple of days. 😉

I stopped by for a few beers and to enjoy the very effective air conditioning. It met my expectations and went well beyond them. The service was friendly and quick, the place was very clean. I mean the bathroom was spotless. The beer was well poured and the staff engaging. All in all a great experience. I'll be back.

The room was nice, and we had a verandah overlooking the main road. Parents had the bonus of a fridge but a window view of the building next door. Hurstville is the spot if you're looking for a central location in Sydney, close to the airport and public transport!

I recently stayed here. Firstly They couldn't find my booking. They then put me in the most dreadful room. Mouldy bathroom. Bed base was falling apart. Then there was a VERY NOISY party down stairs that didn't shut up till 5 am. I was very disappointed.
