This pub holds a very special place in my heart. First real local pub when I moved to Sydney. (called the Masonic hotel then.) and now our annual pilgrimage to watch the first game of NFL each year. good luck with the renovation. we'll see you when you reopen.

Looking for a nice quiet pub to have a beer even a game of pool it's old fashion and basic but perfect for a quiet beer or relaxing game of pool great and friendly service small area for tab no pokies somewhere for a good chat.

Didn’t eat, so food gets a 3. There were literally 2 other people in the place besides my mate & I, so 1 for atmosphere, but service was great so that gets a 5.

Stop looking for the best bar in Sydney because this is it.

If you enjoy playing pool well guess what this place is only $1 game even though the tables play like they are worth $4.

Oh and you can order any food you like from uber eats/menu log - as previously mentioned this is the best bar in Sydney, it's just a shame that like most places that are good it's getting turned into apartments.

One of my absolute favourite haunts. Several pool tables kept in perfect condition. Amazing crew of people working the bar. Great for a chill evening with friends and family.
Remember, no drinks on the tables!

A cool old school pub, great prices and friendly staff, a pleasant neighbourhood surprise. No bistro, but who cares great food near by which you are welcome to bring in and chow down on , whilst enjoying cold draught beers. Hats off to Huntsbury, a great local.

Not the modern one but still a great place to hang out and enjoy a nice cold one with friends on a very hot day,there is also a bottle shop so you can take some with you and continue the party in the comfort of your own home,finding parking can be tricky.
