We asked for a quiet room, as we had slept at a motel with interconnecting room the previous night, and due to noise, we hardly slept. I think all rooms here woukd be quiet, but she kindly gave us a room with kitchen on one side, and our bathroom between us and the next room. Thank you! We slept 10hrs straight!!!
An older style motel, with history.
The entrance garden could be cleaned up of all the cigarette bits, made to look more welcoming, but this is a small thing. The gardens out the front and back are spacious and lovely.

Good quality motel to stay at for a night or two. Comfy beds, good aircon and rooms nice and clean. They provide fresh filtered water in the lobby which is a nice touch too.

Very reasonable and good location. Room was good but find the bed a bit firm for my liking for 2 days. Not far from the club to East Cessnock Bowling Club where I done some Photography works for the Wine Country Music Association Talent Quest 2024 2 day event. Only 2 and a half minutes drive if you take the shortcut correctly. The actual room was very nice and cosy. The TV could do an update despite watching one channel went blank for 10 or so seconds and comes back on. The bar fridge door needs fixing as it was out of angle and stiff to open and close. I’ll give it a 5 stars but those two things that I’ve mentioned could need attention. Thank you for the stay during the busy weekend I had. I will be back there again.

Honestly a great little hotel. The rooms were tidy and the space was clean. The TV was a little older but still was clear and worked okay. The hotel features a large shared space, with couches, tables and chairs, plates, cutlery and a vending machine which would be great if travelling with kids as you could bring your breakfast essentials and have toast or cerial in this space. The location is a little out of the way but it's cost more than makes up for it.

Can’t fault the owner or his wife they treat us with respect the cleaners are Great lovely and honest I had 2 blankets that I brought from home and they washed them for me can’t fault them I would give them 100 stars if I could thanks guys for making us feel welcome

I wasn't too sure how this place would go to be totally honest! Really good rate for the night, and motels can be hit and miss, but holy heck I was put right back in my place when we arrived!!
Our room was so clean, modern and tidy. Down to the tiny details like a dark coloured face cloth for makeup removal, they thought of everything! It was so nice and dark even when the sun was fully up! The AC was easy to work, and was not temperature limited #winning!
I cannot recommend this motel to travellers more, we will absolutely be back! 🙌🏼
