The room was tastefully and comfortably furnished with quality linen and confortable mattresses/pillows.
The common kitchen is excellent.
The games room is comprehensive and also tasteful and comfortable. Not the average sad kids room at many other places.
The gardens and surrounds are peaceful.
Well done to the family operating this complex.

These Villa's are absolutely beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. The beds are so comfortable and the grounds are grassy and perfect for little ones. I was really pleased with the quiet location and the ease of getting wherever you need to easily. I will definitely stay here again if I need to be in the Maitland area. The price is very affordable for the 2 bedroom accommodation we needed.

A perfect winter getaway in beautiful Morpeth!

My family and I recently stayed three nights at the Hunter Oasis resort in Morpeth, NSW, travelling down from Cairns (via Sydney) to attend a good friend’s 50th birthday at the Commercial Hotel. We couldn’t be happier with our stay!

The villa was warm and welcoming—perfect for the chilly winter nights where temperatures dropped to as low as 3°C. It featured two bedrooms (with the second having two single beds, ideal for kids), a full kitchen with dishwasher, a spacious bathroom, and excellent heating throughout.

Our son loved the outdoor fitness area and the open field opposite the resort entrance where two beautiful resident horses greeted us at the fence—we even hand-fed them carrots at sunset, which was a highlight of the trip.

The resort also has a communal laundry with a washing machine and dryer, a BBQ area near the kitchen facilities, and free WiFi—which was very handy due to patchy mobile reception in Morpeth. The manicured lawns and well-kept gardens made for lovely walks around the property.

This was a peaceful, family-friendly stay and we’ll definitely be returning next time we’re visiting the area. Highly recommend Hunter Oasis!

Had a night here with the family (3 kids). All 3 kids remarkably agreed that we need to come back and stay here again. There is a great games room with games for all ages, there is a pool which looked great, but we didn't get to try and a beautiful area with sculptures in the garden where the kids can roam. There is also a playground area. The staff were lovely - their recommendation for dinner was spot on! The room was clean and spacious - with enough space to relax and not be in each other's space. The beds were comfy and put kids even all slept in more than normal - a testament to the comfiness. Thanks, we will be back.

The one bedroom villa we stayed in exceeded our expectations. It was clean and modern and offered great privacy with a relaxing covered patio area outside. The villa had a well equipped kitchen with everything you could need, including a kettle, toaster, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, plates and cups etc.||Other useful items included an iron, ironing board and clothes airer and the free onsite laundry was a godsend for our 3 week stay.||We used the pool but didn't have a chance to go in the games room, gym or use the tennis courts, nor did we use the communal kitchen as we had our own however all these facilities looked good and well maintained.||The area is nice and quiet with the beautiful historic town of Morpeth just down the road. There is a mini convenience store, butchers, cafes, shops and a must visit is the bakery, they have amazing pies and sweet treats!||I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, it truly felt like a home away from home.
