I had my 40th birthday in one of the function spaces, the team were so easy to deal with in the lead in, and on the night the staff were so helpful and really friendly a lot of the guests commented on this also. The food was great. The room was a nice size for the amount of people, with good amenities.

Went out for a quick pub meal last night… walked into a $25 steak night!! Pleasantly surprised….both value for money and delicious. Hubby ordered the steak offer and I had the chicken schnitzel..we both ate our meals and enjoyed it very much… Lily our very courteous and sweet waitress was very accommodating. Don’t know if ordering the Italian doughnuts after was a great idea! They didn’t seem to be fresh and when we made that known to Lily she very quickly amended the bill.Class act!
A very pleasant Tuesday night indeed! Don’t normally leave reviews but good service needed to be commended.

I really do rate this great pub with an excellent pub style food in the restaurant.
We went for lunch yesterday and the service was top notch and the entire team in the restaurant and bar worked hard to ensure everything was perfect!
One of the friendly barman came over to let us know they had just got a delivery of Guinness because he had remembered I had asked about it earlier.

As a general rule if I have an unpleasant experience at a restaurant I don’t leave a review as I know times have been hard but today I am particularly annoyed so will break my rule. I required a gluten free meal so I ordered the fish and chips which was showing a gluten free option. The fish arrived grilled instead of battered and had chips and salad. The waiter specifically mentioned that the fish was gluten free but then I thought I should check the chips. I was advised that the potatoes were gluten free but were cooked in oil where gluten containing food was cooked- that means IT IS NOT GLUTEN FREE. So the chips were removed and I yet I still had to pay for a full meal even though I left hungry. How difficult is it to provide a replacement? Do better people or simply don’t offer the option. On the plus side the fish was nice and the salad fresh but I will not be returning.

We enjoyed a Smoked Salmon Crumpet entree and a Eye Fillet main with a great bottle of Heathcote Shiraz. Really impressed by this hotel kitchen and will certainly be back to try some more dishes.

Solid pub, good food, but is probably the best sports pub in the bayside area. They always have the UFC, Footy, NFL etc. food is good, but could be a bit better.

Food was amazing, drinks were amazing, I only had issues with the short blonde waitress. Extremely curt, snarky, and came across as if serving me and my wife was a chore. Ruined our night and I doubt I will ever return.

Recently held a milestone birthday at Hotel Brighton. It was a fabulous night and everyone who attended had an amazing time.
The food was in abundance and the team that served us including the bar staff were nothing short of exceptional. They could not go out of their way more to accommodate our requirements. Caitlin made the process of booking so easy which was so appreciated. It was a very memorable night thanks to their wonderful organisation and the team’s amazing execution. Thank you Caitlin and team.
