Great spot to camp access in can be quite tricky with a van but definitely doable. There is a small amount of rubbish left behind from previous camper which is a shame. These spot won’t be available if people don’t look after them. No amenities here so make sure you come prepared. Only a short 15 minute drive to town. Definitely somewhere I will return to.

Great camping spot with Sandy beach.... River was down quiet a bit...(May. .2019) Can get busy.. Lots of different places to go tho.. (The other side of river at Barooga has lots of spots also... One with toilets only..). .... Short drive into town and over to Barooga club or call for bus it has pick up service in different spots.. Great boating (boat ramp)and canoeing

This is the third year we have camped there at Easter, very hot this year and unfortunately we had no shade so our tent was boiling hot during the day, however the river was refreshing to cool off in. Last year in the wet the access road was slippery and muddy, really only suited to 4WD, this year it was fine. We had fun, fishing was down on last year but carp were plentiful as usual. Bring your own toilet as there are no amenities.
