Rip off. $30 for a box of Sohan - a Persian confectionary. Will never go there again. Other Persian stores are better priced and more variety.

We had a great experience here today. We got help from the lovely lady in the store and the service was great. Nice and friendly and a lot of selection in store.

The business owner has a hostile attitude towards people, and the way he looks at you is rude and filled with anger, and I cannot think of anything to justify his actions. I don't go there often but I actually buy a lot of things from them every time I go there. The shopkeeper ladies whom seem to work there on a rotating basis are also rude. Their merchandise are also over priced. Compared to a Persian shop in Auburn I went to previously, this shop is small and their goods are more expensive and they also have a surcharge if you pay by card. Overall I wouldn't recommend this shop for the abovementioned reasons, particularly for their bad customer service. I mean you buy their goods and expect to be treated with respect, but in fact you see the opposite. I agree with one of the other reviews here in that, they exploit the absence of other Persian shops in the area to their advantage. I am always happy to see my fellow countrymen in this foreign land which is so far away from my motherland, but it seems this feeling is not reciprocated. They make you feel alienated, unwanted and cheap !!! This is shameful.

Everything is so overpriced. Massive ripoff. Eg olives we buy for $7 elsewhere are $15 here. Turkish coffee $9 at Cole’s $15 here. Avoid this market that’s just 2 examples. Much cheaper options at other markets. I went there as it is local but willing to drive a little further for realistic prices.

The only mildly positive aspect is the customer service. Apart from that, everything else is a letdown. It is a relatively small shop that lacks proper organisation. The worst part is the prices! It is by far the most expensive Persian grocery that I have been to in Sydney. Sadly, although it is the closest to me, I will never visit this shop again, more especially due to their excruciating prices.

The lady at the front desk was too busy on the phone, not willing to help or answer questions.
In the couple of times that I had to buy groceries from them, they have been hesitant to give the receipt.
