Had a group of 22 people stay. We swapped and changed a couple of times and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean, the grounds were lovely. Only 10 minutes from our venue.

Will definitely staying again and would highly recommend this to those travelling with a large group or family

Stayed there for 4 nights with my daughter and will definitely be back again. Was a beautiful historic building and the owners were lovely and gave us a personal tour and told us about the history of the place. Was within a walking distance to shops and restaurants and had a beautiful view over Bathurst. Comfortable beds and plenty of clean showers and toilets. Had a fantastic stay and highly recommend.

The owners are very accommodating & friendly. Beds are comfortable and the room nice and warm. Very close to town centre & the famous mount panorama circuit. Plenty of parking for bigger groups travelling, hygienic toilets & showers. Great place to stay when passing through Bathurst or on race weekends.

I stayed one night when in town to pick up a car.
Got the room with short notice and the owners were happy to show me around and give some background to the property.

The room was comfortable and a very well priced, the place had everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

The view from the balcony is amazing, especially at night.
Very close to the centre of town.

I will be staying here when down for motor racing in future as its one min drive to pit straight and 8 mins walk to a good meal and beverage at the Oxford.

Recently stayed at Holmhurst, beautiful old building but in serious need of maintenance and TLC, Power sockets hanging off, TV didnt work (and no remote to turn it on). The accomodation is very basic (more like student accomodation). There is no cooked breakfast as advertised and the hosts is not there very often. Had to curtail my stay early due to family circumstances and they refused to refund the outstanding days despite me informing them face to face. It’s a shame as Holmhurst has the potential to be amazing

It was such a beautiful well cared for old building surrounded by beautiful gardens. The owner and staff were lovely and very kind and helpful. And the location is perfect just up the hill from the main part of town, close to Mt Panorama but in a very quiet location with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

What a wonderful place to stay. We had a stress free 3 day stay.... excellent hosts, quiet, clean and spacious room with excellent linen and comfy bed. Such a beautiful location in an historic building... we'll be back for sure. Thank you.

The place is much more run down than in the pictures. Our room had a damp smell and very dusty. The shared bathrooms are not enough to go around if staying for a peak period during busy periods. It was okay but felt dilapidated and it is definitely not 4 stars as advertised in google reviews.
