I was really happy with my stay here, and would definitely stay again!

I was really happy with the accessible room, which had clearly had some thought put into its design. There was plenty of room to move, multiple seating choices, both low and high tables, lowered clothes rack and lowered tea and coffee station. There was even second lowered height peep hole in the door - with covers on both for extra privacy!

The bathroom was mostly well designed. They'd actually remembered to put space for you to put things next to the basin! Unfortunately though, the floor wasn't angled correctly for the shower drain, which they've tried to fix by adding a low lip around the edge of the shower, which still didn't actually succeed in containing the water, so fortunately they'd provided plenty of towels!

The one thing that I found extremely annoying was the light switches. You could not control each light individually (despite there being more than enough switches for it!) Instead they controlled sets of lights, and you could only use some lights if you turned on other ones first! So, for example, you couldn't just have the lamp on, or just the toilet light, you had to have the bedside lights and lamp or the main light and toilet 🤦🏼‍♀️

Another positive of staying here, though, was that breakfast is included for free! It was a simple selection, but for free that's entirely reasonable.

I was slightly disappointed to discover that the shuttle bus I had been hoping to use doesn't actually run all day, just morning and evening, but fortunately it's very close to a bus stop and a short walk to the metro station

Very cleaned room and nice helpers. Near Macquarie Centre and metro, easy to go everywhere and shopping anytime. Nice laundry room and the fitness room. But the choice of breakfast provided by the hotel is very limited, still tastes good. We stayed for 7 nights and everything went well. This place is highly recommended. You can find many chargers in the room. Good privacy and quiet space.

I have been a frequent guest at this wonderful hotel for the last seven years. I have always found the reception staff to be courteous, welcoming and efficient. Particular mention should be made of Rafter and Andrew, whose service is outstanding. The rooms have been beautifully clean and comfortable, and the cleaners friendly when I have had contact with them. The free breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety. The location of the hotel is very convenient, being easy walking distance to Macquarie Metro station, Macquarie Centre and Macquarie University. Last but not least, Kay is an excellent manager of her team and is a calm and helpful presence at all times. She greets everyone with a smile and the fact that the hotel as a whole runs so smoothly is a testament to her abilities as Manager.

It's good value. The room was nice and clean. The hotel should give a big credit to the housekeeping. Breakfast was not good, especially the scrambled egg, which tasted weird. The hotel is close to Macquarie Uni, but I prefer to take Uber if you carry two suitcases like me.

Stayed there about a month ago, check in & check out was pretty fast. Room was a good size, clean & comfortable beds. Only thing is the aircond gets very cold at night & can’t be turned down or off.
Would be great if they provided drinking water in the room & also bathroom amenities without having to go to the front desk to get it. Parking was conveniently located underground. Complimentary Buffet breakfast was ok. Overall, if they can fix the aircond issue, I don’t mind coming back for another staycation.

The rooms are well-organized overall, and breakfast is provided free of charge, and the menu provides basic meals. It is a convenient hotel in all aspects, with Macquarie Center and Metro nearby, and it feels like a business hotel with good value for money. It was a satisfactory accommodation with friendly staff and convenient parking~ 🙂

Overall, my experience at holiday inn was pleasent. What I liked most was the bed as it was comfortable but I think one room for improvement is the toilet. There should be a better toilet door and maybe a bidet.

Had a very enjoyable stay here, the coffee club next door was very convenient and the shopping centre was only a 10 min walk away. The Qudos bank arena was around a 20 min drive away. The included buffet breakfast was very nice, had a lot of options, and they had a barista in the lobby that was 3/5. Service is 2/5 because one of the cleaners tried to enter our room while we were napping in the afternoon, we had just arrived and they should have been more well informed on if the rooms are occupied or not, we felt very creeped out 🙁
