We couldn't get a hold of them on the phone to get questions answered. Then we arrived and the photos must of been taken 15 years ago as the rooms are so dated and not maintained. Black mould on windows the glass almost fell out and the draft was noticeable. We had to ask for clean dishes and breakfast on the 2nd day.

Amazing food, helpful staff, delicious brew. Spent the night, reasonably priced and comfortable sleeping. No door to bathroom and privacy screen was not what I’d choose, (particularly if you’re in a group) likely limited options in the space but perhaps some kind of curtain solution could be looked at in the future. Would definitely dine and stay again!

Unfortunately we had a less than satisfactory lunch there last Tuesday. Their email says that go out of their way to make it special. Didn’t happen for us. We waited in the cold and rain for the doors to be unlocked 5 minutes late. The atmosphere was cold and ordinary. The 2 staff were engaged in conversation between themselves and service was also cold and unfriendly. Food was ok. When we left no one said thanks or goodbye. Amazing. Plenty of better pubs around nearby.

Booked for a group of 20 people at the brewery on a Saturday, for 3PM booking (late lunch/early dinner). The paddle options were great - Gin or beer, the staff helpful and the food was delicious. Unfortunately due to the number of staff there was a line to order food, but when the food came out it improved as they got assistance from the pub. Overall, great experience and highly recommended to visit!!

I visited this place on sunday. Used to love this spot good drinks, good vibe. But the barramundi let me down. Fish had a strange aftertaste, and the kipflers were dry and oddly textured, like they weren't fresh. Might want to give the food a miss for now.

Shared Mothers Day lunch with my family. We were allocated 2 hours due to date. Food was served quickly and was very tasty.
Would definitely be interested in booking again for a less busy day

I normally take my classic car club to Holgate once a year, in fall. This year we booked the whole tap room for ourselves. Communication from the staff was exemplary, beer was obviously fantastic and food was pretty good! No doubt we will be back!
