We came with a caravan. The sites are quite adequate with good turning space. Amenities were clean and well maintained. Office is staffed morning and afternoon, but not over the weekend so much. Good access to boat ramps, bakery, Foodworks etc., with tavern and bowls club 1km away on the road into town. Lots of housing development with some infrastructure improvements.
On the Burrum River. At low tide the flat beaches are extensive. Good walking paths. At night it's very quiet, and relatively quiet during the day. Wonderful place to visit or stay and well priced .

What an absolute few we have found here . Amazed people more people haven’t found it . We are 50 plus with a little furbaby and Hillcrest is immaculately clean and tended to . The pool is so clean and is used regularly. A 10 min stroll to stock up on essentials and a relax in front of the water . 20 min drive to Hervey Bay . So quiet and everyone so friendly . 5 stars and would stay here each and every stay in Burrum Heads / Hervey Bay

I have stayed here a few times in the cabins. They are clean and have all of the essentials you need. So close to the water. The staff are lovely and so friendly and helpful. I will be returning soon to stay again.

Great old park and great location with clean amenities. We had one of the larger caravan sites that was able to accommodate our needs. Shannon at Reception is lovely and very accommodating. Thanks for having us!

If you're after a nice, peaceful, relaxing few days away then go elsewhere. 2 out of 4 nights we were kept awake til 2am with noisy (very, very noisy) music, partying and foul language by permanent residents from within the park and across the road. Facilities are average, but immaculately clean, the grounds are rough at best. Average park for an average price. Will not be a return customer !

Loved staying at the Hillcrest Holiday Park. Just a short walk to the shore at Burrum Heads which is absolutely beautiful part of the world. My only criticism would be the bed was really hard and uncomfortable.

We stayed in an ensuite cabin and although I can't complain about the price at 170 for 2 nights for 2 adults and 2 kids it was very basic and in need of a deep clean. It suited well enough for us as we used it as a base to sleep while being out all day during our stay. The flooring was a little uneven hadn't been swept before our arrival. The bunk beds wouldn't be long enough for a tall person to fit comfortably. Location wise, it's right on the water front with access to the beach and boat ramp.

I was on site u until this morning I stayed 5 nights. I found the park poorly run, no control over their guests. The campers on site T were continually abusive, loud and felt there site and ours was theirs.
The dog did it's business on site S and the people their would say nothing as they said if you complain both parties have to leave. Thanks for the 5 nights of ferrol fun but we won't be back. You can't run the park on a part time bases.
