A super cool upstairs bar that serves some Mexican dishes but is best known for its diverse rum and cocktail selection. The bartenders are incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, making your experience even more enjoyable.

I would of rated one star because the waiter didn’t know who ordered the chips she delivered (it was not someone at our table). I said they were mine out of jest, she left them for the table - 1 star. We felt bad and found the recipient who ended up joining the table +1 star.see image for Zed chips.

We did the cocktail making class which was fun and the bartender was knowledgeable and great fun. The service was very friendly and quite good. The menu could be a bit better not quite the Mexican I am used to and it was not a great selection (sorry peeps). Lovely atmosphere but the stairs are quite steep.

Love the decor and the vibe. Massive rum collection and Latin dancing every Tuesday night!
Sadly, Friday nights have now turned into RnB. It used to be the best night of the week.

The food at the new venue is exceptional, though. Really, really good. Fresh and flavoursome.

Great Selection of Mexican Food Yummmy..
Service knows what there doing.. All The Team are Great.. Love The Bar Manager Zac. He knows A great drink for great night.. If you like too get your groove on the DJs That Play there all Have a great variety of Hip hop and RNB with Latino vibez with salsa Attitudes on the Dance Floor.. Great places too sit and watch the various of things going on in great atmosphere. Great Bar. Had a great NZ Rum In My Picture.

I visited Highball for the first time for an event. What can I say—it was okay. The vibe was alright, and the venue itself had a fun, tropical feel. It wasn’t exactly my scene, but it was a decent place to check out, especially if you’re into cocktails and social events.

The Highball 2.0 retains the charm and colour of the former venue.

Visited after work to enjoy the outdoor balcony and share a bowl of guacamole.

I am not exaggerating when I say the bowl is huge and you get a very generous serving of guacamole. The guac itself is well flavoured and not bland.

The menu is on the pricier side for a cocktail in Canberra, but they are delicious and well made. I would definitely recommend this venue.
