There is 5 bungalows on a huge garden area, which means lot of space for children to play. They are located just 2 minutes walk from the beach and surf in Yallingup. There is also a nice big playground at the beach. The rooms are spacious, but simple. There is one double bed and bunks in the other room. The whole bungalow can sleep up to 8 persons. The kitchen is nice and there is a washing machine in every unit. We loved it there, the location is perfect and you find everything you need in there. Our little son played a lot in the garden without us having to be afraid of the cars. There were other kids playing Football, so there really is a lot of space. You won't find luxory, but the bungalows are the cheapest option in Yallingup and a really good value for money. The owners are also really nice and friendly people. We highly recommend.

Pros:
Great range of appliances
Easy to clean and affordable
Comfortable mattress and well kept lawn
Great location - a minutes walk from the beach.

Cons:
Our unit was unclean (had to move due to the original unit being unsanitary)
Need to bring almost everything e.g. toilet paper, bin bags, hand soap, oil, salt and pepper ect.
Door locks are temperamental
Not enough cutlery and crockery based upon max number of people staying.
Bathroom condition is very old
Close to the road and there is no fence so need to watch children playing outside - no dramas

Just needs a coat of paint and a few things changed and this place would be perfect.

To end on a positive note, the location is great and this is the perfect place to stay if you aren't fussed on any of the above. Just difficult to manage with little kids based on the condition of the unit.

We stayed at Hideaway Holiday homes in October 2011 and enjoyed every minute of our stay.||||There are three buildings on the site, each building divided into two well sized units. We had myself and my husband, our two year old son and our grandmother staying in a unit together and there was plenty of space.||||Each unit is equipped with its own washing machine, fridge, microwave, TV, gas stove, oil heater, dining table and chairs, all crockery and cutlery, bathroom with toilet, basin and shower, and a clothesline!||||Perfectly situated only a short stroll to the most beautiful beach and coral lagoon that you'll ever see. We saw whales and dolphins every day we were there!||||The units, whislt not ultra modern, are clean, tidy and very well equipped. I am very fussy with cleanliness and I was very impressed. Perfect for a self catered holiday. ||||The hosts, Russell and Carol are most obliging and friendly and will help out with any of your needs or if you need any info!||||We stayed with them for 10 nights and saw all of WA's South West coast from this one, very central and convenient location. 2 minutes to a little local store with friendly service and basics needs and 10 minutes to Dunsborough that has everything you need. Coles, fuel, cafes and takeaways for those nights you can be bothered cooking!!!||||Please dont overlook these little gems hidden away in Yallingup! The most affordable and comfortable you'll find!

Great accommodation close to Yallingup Beach, shops and a short walk to Caves House. Great for friend wanting something basic but cheaper than all other accommodation in the area. You can spread out as they are larger than the usual Park Cabins with full kitchen, bathroom living and bed rooms.

We stayed at Hideaway Homes in Yallingup Beach over the summer break and loved it. We usually stay at the caravan park but the hideaway cottages killed the park in every area and was $400/week cheaper for better accommodation. The place is adjacent to the beach and 2 bedroom cottages were fully self contained with reverse cycle air con and bathroom etc. Theyre not on the internet but instead rely on word of mouth making this place an absolute hidden gem.

Carol and Russell have owned these units for many years and it's a fantastic location with older style accommodation.
Great prices for a cheaper holiday in an upmarket region and world class surf breaks.
Highly recommended by my family.
