Well that entire experience was just a delight. It was easy, it was friendly, it was organised. I had been putting off getting a dent fixed in my car because sending it to the smash repairers would mean hiring another car. I had never done it before and every time I started to look in to it, it seemed complicated and expensive. I came across hertz and everything seemed so much easier, so I went with them. When I arrived, I was surprised how quickly I was in and out of the office. The car was great, clean, economical and exactly what I was hoping for.

Upon returning the car I did get there a few hours early and amongst the 100 other things I was trying to tee up I forgot to refill the fuel and had been told upon collecting the car it would be very expensive for them to refuel it. Kindly, instead of charging me that huge amount, the promptly called me within around 10 minutes and offered to allow me to retake it to refuel. I couldn’t get back for an hour or so but when I did, they had it ready for me to take out again.

I have family from overseas that hire for a month at a time when visiting twice a year. They always hire a car for their stay and I’ll be directing them straight to this place from now on.

Extremely disappointing interaction with Shae. I called to query an error in one of my two bookings with them. Despite my polite queries Shea refused to answer my questions and proceeded to hang up on me leaving me unclear on the status of my bookings.

Great place to hire a car. A little way from the centre of Newcastle, but close enough via public transport. Cars were all good, clean and efficient. Prices are reasonable too. Staff were amazing and gave me back my hat I had accidentally left there.
