Went in to get help to organise a Europe trip. The lady took down my information, places I wanted to visit, dates etc. I was told they would contact me with flight information and suggestions. Weeks went by and nothing. Made another appointment, spoke to the same person, discussed the trip more and was told she would contact me. Again nothing. In the meantime I emailed twice and no one returned or acknowledge receipt of the emails. No suggestions were made about places to stay or possible flight routes. Went to Flight Centre, spoke about the details as I did with Helloworld. The lady at Flight centre looked up possible flights gave me options then and there and I kept in constant contact with her through emails as she arranged various accommodations throughout Europe! My Europe trip for next year is now booked and paid for, she was amazing. Don’t waste your time with Helloworld, they’re happy to take your appointments but don’t follow through and she was the store manager! The worst part for me was the ignoring of emails sent and lack of communication.

The blonde woman was rude and unhelpful. I told her where I wanted to go in Italy and not only did she advise me otherwise , she told me they charge for quotes lol, first travel agency that I’ve heard of that does that. Her loss as I was about to spend $20k on a trip to Italy.

I was able to book multiple transport and all my accommodation with them during peak travel season in Europe. The accommodation booked was wonderful and took extra weight off my shoulders when planning my trip this year. Thank you!

I had the same experience as the user below. Went into get help with booking a Japan trip. Said no flights were available, didn't return my emails, gave me a ridiculous cost for the whole thing. Went home and booked the trip myself for half what they quoted me. Wouldn't recommend.

Where do I start, I've created a google account just to put in this review they're that bad.

So I went in and enquired about my interest of travelling to Japan and I told them that I have this time off and was thinking of travelling then and im not joking or exagerrating when I say that the 2 ladies at both counters laughed straight at my face and said you have no chance of getting there.

Its too busy its peak season and you should of researched this.

Not too mention I have done research on it turns out the time I wanted to go according to friends who have been and too google when im planning on going is actually really quiet when it comes to tourists and when they told me how much flights cost also turned out to not be true when researched.

Its also very funny how all desks there were empty and then flight centre right around the corner was jam packed.

So lets break it down first they laugh in your face
Then say we aren't gonna help you because you have no chance of going on a flight

and these are the people you go to see that make you interested in travelling haha.

I work in the travel industry at Sydney International Airport and ill definitely be spreading the word about HelloWorld and their staff

I booked 3 times with this company, Thailand, Melbourne, Greece and 2 out of 3 of my holidays we're stuffed up. Last holiday they stuffed me up so much it costed me extra, I had to pay for my bags (after I paid helloworld for them) the transfer hotel was not booked (after I was told it was and also paid for it) also on the way back to Australia took me 2 days stop over, I continuously advised them to book me a direct flight and even offered to pay extra they promised me it will be fixed and I was left stranded in Abu dhabi airport for 14hrs. I don't recommend this company as I even tried calling the manager to speak with about my complaint and no one cared to respond. I'll be definitely looking elsewhere...
