Asked for a glass of sparkling white wine and got a moscato . Said they didn't stock sparkling white. They should . Food was average . The burger bun was dry and not fresh . Ceasar salad very average compared to other pubs I've been to . It's meant to have beautiful fresh cos lettuce leaves , not chopped up iceberg lettuce. The egss were very hard boiled .
Chicken snitty meal could have had more mashed potato and more veg on the plate . We won't be back ..

Very nice place to stay. The staff are lovely. Rooms are a good size with everything you need. Showers and toilets clean. Loved the common room. Felt like home.

Such a beautifully restored hotel, with old world charm and graces. The common room is very well appointed and furnished very tastefully. The younger gentleman who served me was so very helpful and polite. Unfortunately, due to the hall light shining through the transom window in room #1, I got very little sleep and now know why it's the last room to be let. It's an easy fix with some blockout contact. It's just a shame that the cleaning staff don't pay attention to the things above eye level.

Food was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The guy with the beard at the counter was super helpful with the order

You get what you pay for. I'll be going back there again for a lunch and a beer.

Menu includes burgers, steaks, fish. The usual pub stuff and all our food was well prepared and decent.

Basic country pub, dirty toilet facilities, food too expensive for what it was. The roast didn't taste fresh made that day, the brisket didn't taste slow cooked, it was not soft and falling to pieces but was eatable , chicken and prawns well cooked, lamb steak well cooked, mash potato was lumpy, dining facilities very basic, green beans cooked perfectly . Good service.

After the little Indian man in the bistro being rude then questioning him on his attitude I was very ill hours post dinner. Led me to report this facility after all the years I've come here.
The bar staff are all friendly respected. I've met the owner he is great.

Never eat here! Never been so sick!!!
