We held our small micro wedding here during September over a 3 day/2 night package, and cannot recommend this place enough for a small or large wedding or event, or even a family or couple getaway! |The owners Jaclyn and Matt are so friendly and committed to ensuring your day or event will go seamless, nothing is too much trouble for them. Can’t thankyou enough for your hospitality and service! |The location of Hedlow is easy to locate, but has so much privacy from the main hustle and bustle. The cabins are spaced well enough apart from the lodge also. The lodge rooms and cabins are well maintained and comfortable! And have ample space for vans or tents also.|Our guests stayed at Hedlow also for our wedding and it was so relaxing and easy knowing we had the basic run of the place while the wedding unfolded. The kids made use of the kayaks and canoes provided, so lovely to see getting back into nature. |We absolutely loved having our wedding at Hedlow, and the feedback from our family mirrored our reviews also, the ambience certainly made it oh so more relaxing and enjoyable. It is truly serene and peaceful and we’ll be sure to return again in the future, even for a weekend getaway so close to home. Truly a hidden gem in CQ ?️?

Hedlow Retreat is a hidden gem... we camped in our caravan in the open area, the other side of the Hedlow Lodge... overlooking Hedlow Creek. Beautiful, immaculate lawns around the lodge and cabins. Showers and toilets were clean and well maintained. Fire pits were available as well as firewood.||They also had kayaks, canoes and sup paddle boards... such a beautiful creek to paddle.||All in all we would highly recommend.

We are a family of four (kids aged 9 and 7) travelling around Australia in our caravan for 6 months. We stayed at an unpowered site for three nights and absolutely loved it. Facilities are fantastic, and the kids loved taking the canoes and kayaks for a paddle in the creek. Highly recommend getting up early to enjoy sunrise over the water. Hedlow Retreat Wow ? what a wonderful place to stay! Fantastic views in a tranquil setting. This place really caters for all. Cabins, lodge rooms and camping as well as weddings, birthdays and special events. We camped and loved the atmosphere with not only fantastic volcanic plug views but also a beautiful creek with jetty. The kids spent a few hours on kayaks, stand up paddle boards and just having some much needed outdoor fun! Hosts Matt and Jac were amazing! Enjoyed every minute. Thanks.

Absolutely stunning cabins and location. Very spacious and well equipped. They have canoes and life jackets. The cabins are fully serviced with linen and cook ware. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The retreat is located conveniently close to the local pub where you can get a meal or groceries from the local store.

We just had our wedding at Hedlow Retreat on the18th May and couldn't recommend this venue enough. The owners and staff were super helpful throughout the whole process. The most beautiful place, honestly was just perfect. The grounds are immaculate and so much pride is taken in keeping everything so impeccable. From when we first looked at the venue over 12 months ago, the new owners have done so many improvements. It was great before but now it's just amazing.. 10000% recommend for any wedding, function or just for a beautiful place to go stay..

Hedlow Retreat was an amazing venue for our wedding. Nothing was too much effort and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with how everything was setup. When we arrived there was over 10 staff working tirelessly to get the venue together including mowing and maintaining the gardens. |The best part about Hedlow was the that all our family could stay in the same place for 3 nights whether it be in the cabins or in their own caravan and there was still plenty of room.|Despite rain all weekend, the whether cleared on the day when we needed it too and we were still able to have a perfect day outside, get some amazing photos and enjoy the venue to its full potential.|Cannot thank Jaclyn and the team at Hedlow for helping create our dream come true.|Thank you Thank you Thank you
