Bad thing first - waiting time was told for 1 hour which was acceptable. However, my friend's chips was room-temperature and fish was just a bit warm and Salad was soaked with sauces which is not acceptable after 1 hour waited.

Good things, the location and view are just unbelievable-sky, water, breeze came with flavorful pizza and chilling live band music together with a smiling sunshine. Yhea.. Let's enjoy life with good friends this way 🙂

I will definitely come with family again, it's really worthy.

absolutely appalled by our whole dinning experience. The service of our meal took over an hour, tables were uncleared and not clean. Our chicken was PINK!!! after asking for it to be remade we had no apology for the first encounter, adding to that the second round of chicken came out pink again .. disgusting. We couldn’t eat our dinner, left highly unsatisfied and hungry.

Located at Headlands Avenue & Yuruga Street, Austinmer, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺.
We had a great lunch here, the food was delicious and we were very happy with the service. Our group had been here several times now, it’s a great place to come for lunch on a drive from Sydney. It’s also very wheelchair 🦽 accessible which is great for us as we have some people in wheelchairs. The staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant was designed beautifully. The view was spectacular, you could see for literally miles and you could take a really great walk along the cliff after eating. I will say that the prices are quite expensive, despite this, I was really impressed with Headlands and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Thumbs Up!! 👍👍👍👍

This is a $29 pizza. Almost no topping. I ordered a prawn and Chorizo. Lots of rocket lettuce to hide the almost nil ingredients underneath. I do not recommend coming here for food. It also did not taste very good. Very bad pizza. Avoid

Came here on a public holiday and dropped by for lunch, didn’t stay at the hotel FYI.

To begin, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking, overseeing the beautiful calming waves of the ocean, settled on a lovely grassy field and surrounded by laughter and chit chat, the overall environment of the restaurant was fun and relaxing. The staff seem quite nice and the restaurant is absolutely huge!! Some dishes were off the menu for some reason (ones that look really good like the chicken schnitzel and clams 😔)

However, being such a large restaurant, the wait times are quite long. Over an hour for steak and fries and salmon! Kids meals came first, lucky because they were starving and the burgers are nice. The steak and fries are alright, nothing really special and the salmon is at best; interesting. The chimichurri was so flavorful like lemon and the Tuscan vegetables are quite good too, though is salmon was extremely soft and literally collapsed when trying to cut into it and quite bland itself.

The cakes are good too and so is the ice cream for dessert 🍦

Overall, a decent place but falls short from its spectacular scenery. 3 stars

Came for a birthday lunch and the venue was excellent. Parking is not the best here but there are so many seating options and areas to drink and dine. The food is on the pricier side for a pub with $27+ Schnitzels. The pizzas were delicious and filling, the dough was woodfired. Great atmosphere with live music and the service was faultless. It is on a seaside cliff with great views and a nice grassed area. I would highly recommend for a large group for somewhere on the South Coast.

The view was beautiful but our experience did not reflect this. Firstly this room we sat in was so noisy it gave us headaches, and we couldn't even see the see view when we sat down. Then there was the 1 hour wait for average food. They forgot to bring us cutlery and we had to get it ourselves (water too). Two of the seafood pastas were bland and dry because they forgot to put the garlic butter dressing on. An order was forgotten (waited 1 hours 45mins) and it took over 10mins to get a refund. The staff were busy but they did not apologise for any of the above. The food we did receive was mostly only average. We had a booking but the restaurant clearly was not able to cater for the number of people they had. Overall disappointing and we would not recommend.
