We had a steak meal with chat potatoes, very delicious, for lunch on Mon Kings Birthday at full price, was not too busy this day at this time, fast and courteous service. Friend was also happy with her fish meal. Highly recommend. 06.25

We dropped into this beautiful hotel for lunch. We ordered the seafood plate with battered snapper and calamari. The plate was more than adequate for two hungry road trippers, with a generous serving of king prawns, oysters and smoked salmon (as well as the snapper, calamari and chips). The views from the bistro are absolutely breathtaking, and the overall vibe is friendly. Lovely place to relax and enjoy the food and views 🤗

We were beyond happy with our wedding at Headlands Hotel in Austinmer. The venue and location are absolutely stunning - it truly was the perfect backdrop for our special day.

In the lead-up, Teagan was incredible. She was super responsive, organised, and kind, and she patiently helped us through all our many questions. Even with heavy rain in the forecast just days out from the wedding, she helped us stay calm and reassured. While we ended up going with the wet weather option, everything was still absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t have been happier with how the day turned out.

The food was another highlight - our guests are still raving about the canapĂŠs and grazing station! The service was seamless, and everything felt so well taken care of from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Teagan and the Headlands team for helping create such a memorable day - we're so grateful!

I do not recommend staying for a wedding.
The location was lovely and if I had been staying for any other reason other than my wedding it would have been good but unfortunately I was left really disappointed.

Having had multiple conversations with staff about our stay we upgraded our rooms to two penthouses, we wanted to have bridal party photos on the deck.

My one request, which was made many times was to please have the deck cleaned as my dress had a long train… I walked out of our room onto the deck for our first photo, my dress swept the group and was black… it was so upsetting. A dirty wedding dress before the ceremony which could have been avoided, it was unbelievably upsetting.

I was so busy the wedding day morning I didn’t check but I stupidly thought I didn’t need to. I trusted they had listen to our request, but even if I didn’t request this… isn’t cleaning and ensuring the room is ready part of what you pay for?
They are missing the common forwarding thinking to ensure the penthouse was wedding ready.

Further evidence of them just not bothering to care, we spent over an hour sorting a working iron out the morning of the wedding… again why would they not check the iron of the penthouse prior to a wedding checking in?

We also got a very rude call at 1am our wedding night, the night staff getting us confused with the other bride and groom staying at the venue leaving us feeling really ripped off. Who thinks is normal to call a bride and groom at 1am the night of their wedding?

We paid over $3300 for two rooms and have been left feeling ripped off. What is the most upsetting is we shared our concerns via an email with the staff and have been completely ignored. No response, no acknowledgement, no apology.

They clearly put making a profit over human connection, terrible customer service they demonstrated time and time again they don’t care. They got our money and that’s the end of it.

Only 45min from home, stopped by for lunch, found an empty table with a great view. Meal was amazing, I had the Rump steak with surf and turf... delicious! Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Would definitely return and perhaps even stay the night.

My experience of my stay at the Headlands Hotel as been fantastic. It started at check in where a lovely helpful lady checked us in from there we went to a very clean spacious room comfortable king size bed with an ocean view. Might be on the higher side price wise, however a room with a view in worth it. The staff in the hotel section are very helpful and friendly as well. I highly recommend this establishment as a stay over or a meal with a view at the restaurants
