Over the weekend I had a hens weekend for my sister, and one of the events was a picnic setup/back-downed by Larissa. It was the most perfect picnic and everyone invited couldn’t stop praising everything. The small details and how easy communication was with Larissa made everything so easy and stress free. 100% recommend Hazel Lane Events for any occasion, thank you guys again ☺️

We were astounded with how well our entire experience with Larissa & Scott was throughout our wedding planning journey and then our official big day. They are the kindest, most thoughtful and authentic couple and it was a privilege for us to work with them to plan our reception at Hazel Lane. As we were their first ever wedding at the new and developing venue, while there could have been room for us to be nervous about certain factors not being complete or those unpredictable challenges that can impact any new business or project, the hard work, thorough communication and transparency that Larissa and Scott offered over the 6 months is what gave us complete confidence in choosing their venue for our wedding reception. They are very passionate about what they do and their vision and thrilling ideas for the future development of this venue is truely inspiring. Myself & Joel are both very excited to see what Hazel Lane will continue to offer the Gladstone region in coming months and years! Their entire heart throughout our whole planning and preparation process with them was to understand what myself and my fiancé wanted and to try their hardest to make our dream wedding day come true - and they did exactly that. We’ve received many compliments from our guests at how much they loved the reception and how beautiful it was and it was everything AND MORE than we planned for! We would love to give Larissa extra recognition and commend her for her incredible communication. She was fast to respond, transparent, honest, flexible, thorough with photos and updates and we were able to arrange face-to-face catch ups with them and develop a good relationship with them. The venue itself, although being realistic with some aspects still in development, for our reception it had everything we needed and it was a beautiful night. We did not come across any major issues or complications on the day and the table layouts looked stunning, exactly as we had planned for and discussed, the fairy lights and marquee offered a cosy romantic atmosphere and Scott & Larissa were there the entire time working hard behind the scenes to make our dream day come together so smoothly. They also set up and packed up our ceremony equipment for us, being able to work well with other vendors and key people who were helping us out on the day and we also received lots of positive feedback from our friends and family. Overall, if you are considering venues for an upcoming event, we highly highly recommend to consider Hazel Lane & have a chat with Larissa and Scott as our experience with them was nothing but a huge delight.

We had a slumber party and picnic set up for our little 9 year olds party and the girls absolutely raved about it!!
All the girls were in awe of how special it all looked, loved sleeping under the fairy lights and complimented the beds and bedding as being super comfy. The picnic set up was perfect for the girls to have their special dinner and pancake breakfast and it all looked so so beautiful

What can I say! Larissa went above and beyond creating a perfect backdrop for my sister in laws baby shower! She came to our home and set up everything, we didn’t have to worry about a thing! She also recommend the perfect colour scheme to suit the day! We had the pleasure of having Hazel Lane setup our little mermaid loving 4 year olds birthday party! What an amazing setup, value for money and so sweet and individualised to her!! Since then this is my go to for all kinds of occasions, Ris makes it so easy and everyone comments on how amazing her setups look!! 10/10 would recommend!

Had the privilege of getting a balloon arch gifted to me for my baby shower made by Larissa at Hazel Lane Events. She is super creative and worked in easily to my needs for the drop off and pick up of the arch. Definitely would recommend!
