This Visitor Information centre is co located with the service station. They also have a range of grocery products.

I was able to locate a number of items for my car that I needed including windscreen wiper fluid, which helped to keep my windscreen clean which was a necessity when exploring the muddy and dusty areas in this very beautiful region, the gorges and scenic drives are predominantly unsealed and as such can have a significant effect on the cleanliness of your car. Ensure you check here to verify spots that are accessible and safe for your vehicle, there is good information available.

The staff were very helpful with their recommendations and local knowledge. I would recommend this store for grocery, fuel, general vehicle items as well as for the helpful and knowledgeable staff that provided us with assistance.

When you visit Hawker do yourself a favour and drop in here to be place yourself in the best position to make the most of this spectacular tourist region.

Fantastic and so supportive!
We were coming back from a trip up north on the motorbikes and got caught out in some thunderstorms north of Hawker. We heard that the roads may be flooded and so got in touch with the VIC and they were brilliant, they had plenty of information and even got back in touch with us as the situation developed. They provided really great advice on accommodation options when it became clear that we simply couldn't get through. Cannot recommend the commitment, service ethic and support offered by John and the team at this centre.

Great stopover before the desert stretches out and fuel becomes more expensive. Grab an ice cream or get your tyres inflated or repaired. Good toilets and supermarket and the best book selection on history and arid environments amongst other things. Almost anything you can think of they have it!

Public toilets well maintained, good variety of products. Great little historic section with a seismograph, customer service just okay though.
