Oh my gosh I had such a fun time at HARS on their premium 747 tour. The amazing retired volunteers included an engineer, captain and a flight attendant couple. They showed the small group (only 4, which was split into 2 smaller groups of 2) of us through every nook and cranny of this amazing bird. Their unique perspectives from their time flying on or working with this exact plane was amazing. Spent ages sitting in the cockpit, learning how it all works and pretending we were flying. Such an amazing day and amazing value. I would recommend this for any avgeek. I’ll probably be back to do it again one day! Thanks to all the lovely volunteers who spent their time taking me through this museum.

This is an absolutely stunning place. There are a lot of rare planes presented in an amazing condition - these are maintained by volunteers and members. They even have two planes that are the last one in the world that actually fly!
Presentation by Marco was beautiful and after the 90 minute tour I regretted not doing a longer tour.
Thanks again for the interesting facts and stories about your beautiful planes. If I get the chance, I’ll come again!

Excellent museum. Very reasonable price for the tour. There are tour start times so there could be a little bit of a wait time to start the tour. Last tour starts at 2 pm. In the tour you can see many planes military and passenger in different eras. You can get into some of them and hear stories about their days of operation. The tour ends with a mighty Boeing 747-400. Hats off to the volunteers who restore these planes and keep them operational.

Very very beautiful museum with very well maintained exhibits. You can get into many planes and the employees live for their profession. Explain super well, friendly and not too intrusive the individual planes. It's definitely worth a visit!

Had an unexpectedly great time at the HARS museum. Compulsory tour-guide Graham was an excellent companion - taking us through the massive working aviation restoration workshop, through to the hangar with many restored and working aircraft. An amazing walk-through the Boeing 747 topped off the day. Thanks for having us!

We went along on a weekend without too much expectations but came away very impressed. The informative tour provided by our guide Brett is nothing but an amazing walk through history of Australian aviation by visiting many well preserved aircraft.

Located about one and half hours drive from Sydney, HARS Aviation Museum is home of around 50 retired aircraft in various different conditions. The museum crews did a fantastic job of keeping some of them in flying conditions. Not an easy task considering the age of many airframes.

I have to point out the best value of visiting the museum is the tours provided. Even the most basic 90 minutes tour covered by the general admission is excellent. The general knowledge and background stories from our guide vastly enhanced the experience.

I highly recommend this to all aviation fans.

Great aviation museum, full of restored planes and others that are being worked on. Really enjoyed walking through an actual 747, and super constellation, and listening to the tour guides give context to all the different planes.

I have been wanting to go here for over 20 years, and I was not disappointed, our volunteer guide Peter, was extremely helpful and showed us through and around many aircraft.
I am an aircraft enthusiast, and this was just the best experience.
