I stayed for work so I was only there in the evening but the room was clean and tidy with everything I needed. It was quiet (if there was noise from downstairs I certainly didn't hear it). The only noise I heard was the person in the next room crashing into something at 3.30am. Lots of food selections in the area.

Decent hotel with basic aminities for short stay. Room was comfortable, however, my room didn't have any window. Main entrance through the bar, conveniently located next to the malls, restaurants and walkable distance to the beach.

I recently stayed at the Harp Hotel accommodation as I was seeing Overnight perform at the Music Lounge, which was a great location near the CBD of Wollongong, a 5-minute walk to the venue and to a local diverse range of restaurants. During my stay, I was accommodated with an excellent room experience, although the music downstairs during Friday & Saturday nights was a bit of a bother for me, but I managed to sleep through all the noise.

Love the new paint job! Looks fresh and modern!! The sister bartenders were warm and welcoming, and had brilliant customer service. The music is also a vibe! Definitely will come back !

Highly recommended. Stayed for work and was pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and compact - it had everything necessary for my stay. The service was friendly and effective. I initially had concerns about staying above a Karaoke Pub 🙂 - but there was no noise, and the double glazed windows remove all traffic sounds as well. Parking is great, and the central location is incredible. Will definitely stay at the Harp Hotel again. Thank you

I give a 1 star because the rooms are clean. However, if you are planning on booking a room to sleep, this is definately not the place to be and i give it 0 stars. Until 2 am, your room is a night club and karaoke. The bass and music from the pub downstairs is so loud your bed vibrates. I used the provided ear plugs AND my Beats headphones together and still i could hear and feel the bass.

Also, just to be aware, you will be charged a $200 bond at check-in and if you want to check out later than 10 am, it is $10 per hour. If you are worried about safety, room doors do not have a lock from the inside.

Never again will I be staying here.

Ive been here a few times due to word of mouth “harp hotel” as we live in Unanderra, however coming here we’ve noticed consecutively the bar tenders seem extremely rude to my husband and was treating another gentleman very rudely also at the bar. No smile, just dirty looks. Security guard was quite intimidating also.

Came into the hotel tonight to watch the footy with some friends. The tv turned off at 9.00pm which is so early. I asked the lady to turn it on to see the last 20 mins of the knights game. She said what channel were you watching it on. I said 501 on fox on the side big screen. The lady I think was the manager started yelling at me for no reason. And said move seats and watch it at the back. The manager needs to improve her customer service skills. Especially in the industry she is working in. I would not recommend going to the harp to watch the footy.
