Location of the apartment complex was great. But the actual apartment was not clean and is very tired. Has a great view, but no patio chairs or table to use to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view. There were 3 crappy dining room chairs on the patio. That is all. The parking is terrible. For the second night we were lucky enough to get an undercover park only to find when we went to leave that some other guest had parked behind us!! Large table in the room takes up too much space. Never again. Be aware… they take $200 damage deposit out as well as the cost of the room. Let’s see how long it takes to get that money back. We will not be staying again or recommend this apartment.

The unit was lovely. Clean with plenty of room and a view to the ocean, overlooking the pool and BBQ area. We stayed 2 nights, the 1st being lovely and quiet, unfortunately on the 2nd night we had a party going on around the pool. It was extremely loud and went on till about midnight. This was the only thing to spoil our stay.

#8 at Driftwood Yeppoon- LOVED the location!! We could walk across the grass to the beach. Decor in the unit was cute.
Loved the spices and condiments in the cupboard, and really appreciated the glad wrap and sandwich bags in the kitchen!! The whole kitchen was well equipped. Generous with soaps, shampoos and towels.
Room #8 has a set of aluminium stairs outside the bedroom window. These are the main entrance to all upstairs units. They are VERY noisy when people walk up and down them!! They woke us every morning and disturbed our sleep every night. And when it rained the noise was constant as the gutter was broken.
Bed was DREADFUL!! Very hard and kept moving around the floor. Have been in pain for days now.
Unit was only surface clean. There was a lot of rubbish and mess under the beds and lounge. Receipts, toys, food, hair ties, empty kids food containers etc. Hair and fluff in drawers and with dead insects around floor edges etc. Very built up fluff on light fittings on headboard. Crumbs not cleaned out in cupboards and microwave. Oven was dirty.

This property was absolutely beautiful. Every inch of the property was styled with incredible attention to detail. The views are impeccable, we spent most of our stay on the balcony savouring the beautiful weather and ocean landscape. We didn’t want to leave. George and Sherryn were wonderful hosts, they are both so friendly and kind. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Wyndham Resort Airlie Beach. Comfortable room with awesome views. Breakfast included was delicious with great coffee. Not a place you can walk anywhere easy from as it is very hilly.
