We had the most amazing day celebrating our wedding at Harbour room! All the staff were absolutely amazing and so easy to deal with throughout the process. A big thanks to Emily our coordinator who ensured everything ran smoothly on the day.

If i could give 0 stars I would!!!

I'll start by saying the event booked was for my sister wedding , she had booked in March 2023 date of the wedding was in end of October.
My mum was paying the deposit so in April they booked to see the venue together with a lady they were dealing with named Rita, they go to the place at the time of the appointment where they were waiting for Rita, to then be told aw no she is not here today. They were met by another lady who they never met, who has no idea and couldn't answer any of the questions they had at all. To say the least they were very disappointment as they took the day specifically to see the venue and also speak to Rita the event coordinator thinking they could ask her what they needed to in order to be fully informed before leaving a deposit unfortunately this was not the case.
They are very pushy on getting that first deposit and even after that first deposit was made, when asking any questions or for them to provide any information in terms of how the day would run when the gusts has to be there when they were getting the canapes ext we were left with more questions then answers. Oh and to get a call back or email we would had to wait 1-2 weeks this alone made my sister feel so on easy ton think her special day would be in the hands of people who were not capable to do their jobs, let alone answer simple questions or return a phone call.
They wanted another deposit of over half of what the entire event cost was going to be, however refused to discuss simple questions we had in regards how many tables there may be, they would only go through this only if we left another deposit. At this point we felt that they were miss leading and just wanted more and more money.

They have stated by email if that date in 6 months time can be booked we will give you a full refund. How ever when one my my friends tried to book the same date they have said its not available, just so they can keep the deposit.

This whole series of events plus some personal reasons have resulted in us canceling the event altogether. My sister unfortunately is medically not well.
Even through its 6 months prior to the event they have refused to give us any deposit back even if they miss lead my sister mentally not well and pressured her into pay a deposit.
This is just out rages now they wont return any calls or emails from us and are they left in the dark.

This is by far the worst events company or humans I have even had to deal with .
They are absolutely a money hungry business where their first and foremost like to miss lead others and then steal their money and don't care if if your dying or ill or mentally struggling. Absolutely disgusted!

Attended a wedding here recently.
Staff were inappropriate voicing their frustrations to guests regarding time pressures. They openly vented to guests about the photographer and complained they were taking too long and food was going cold. They tried to make us go inside even though we were waiting for last photos, we had to firmly say twice that we were not going inside and we would be waiting for photos. This was not mentioned to the happy couple as we did not want to ruin their special day.

I think this is such disappointing behaviour from the staff. A wedding should be about what the bride and groom want and if they want photos they should be able to do photos without themselves or guests being pressured or spoken to in that way. Have a vent out back to your coworkers, not to the customers! It made us feel so uncomfortable.

The food was also pretty average.
The falafel main was like an overcooked microwave yumis falafel from coles with dry salad. Surely vegetarian dining has come further than this in 2020?

Otherwise, it’s an absolutely beautiful wedding location.

Terrible experience, I sent my brother to do a venue inspection for an event and he was waiting for 30 minutes. He had called multiple times where they told him to ring the bell, which he did several times and no one came down to get him.
