Elisa(Elli) was the sweetest person ever! She helped me book the perfect trip to the Great Barrier reef and I will be forever greatful for this incredible experience! We sat there for 2 hours going through all the options I had and by the end we narrowed it down to the Silverswift Diving tour! If you are a certified diver- THIS TOUR IS FOR YOU! Amazingly helpful, friendly and easy! I went into Happy Travels in Cairns and was quickly seen by Ryan who booked my skydive in Airlie Beach, a 3-day/2-night trip to Fraser Island, and a Greyhound coach ticket. The skydive and Fraser Island tour have been highlights of my time in Aus. Ryan saved me over £100 and even took the time to help me plan an itinerary for my East Coast trip. Highly recommend going to see Ryan/Happy Travels to make the most of your time in Aus 🙂

Great experience with happy travels!
I admit I’m not the easiest customer as I had many questions.

Alex was amazing, patient and helping me plan a full week’s worth of tours all while I was still in the USA.

She made adjustments based on the weather. She was very thorough with itineraries and explaining the timelines.
All of the buses/boats and capacities matched the description provided.

Most importantly, pricing was upfront with no games.

I would book again with happy travels

They offer everything you could want for a visit to Cairns. We booked a package that included a trip to the Great Barrier Reef! The package covered breakfast, lunch, a complimentary champagne and cheese platter, snorkeling (with an option to learn on the cruise if you're a beginner), underwater sightseeing, and more. All of this came at a price of $270, which felt like great value. The staff lady was very helpful in customising our package as we were a group.

If you're planning a trip to Cairns, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Ryan was great! Down to earth, quick and efficient, knew his stuff. We sorted out two days worth of trips very quickly because he listened to what we wanted to experience and he knew exactly what to recommend. We had a group of ten of us travelling and I was the only Aussie so it was important we saw the best of Cairns! It was a pleasure to deal with Ryan. We got a good deal too $$$

Can highly recommend visiting this shop! Sam in particular was amazing at helping sort out our future travel plans in New Zealand. He was so informative and answered all questions and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without him! Definitely recommend, they help with all your travel needs, from tours to campervan rentals etc.

I stumbled into this place while I was killing time waiting to check into my hostel. I actually was on my way to a cafe to plan some things as I arrived to Australia with essentially nothing booked for my East Coast tour and quickly realized that is a risky approach in the summer season. Alex and Ryan at Happy Travels sat with me for two hours, giving me recommendations and booking everything for me from activities to accommodations. Moving things like puzzle pieces to make all of my Australia dreams come true. I am so so glad I found this this happy little place with such helpful and friendly staff!! Cannot recommend it enough
